A disappointment. Both mint and green tea in this blend are of low quality. The green component is weedy and damp-smelling, and the mint component is very weak. The refreshing effect of mint lasts only until you drink half of the cup. Do not let it get cold.

This is really yummy. It is so pleasantly fruity, with a tart note that is not too strong, but just enough to keep the cup from becoming too sweet. Nutty flavor from the rooibos, but no funky sweetness or aftertaste. A sharp note from the sunflower gives a nice contrast to the cup.

Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss for sending a bit of this to me. I’m really enjoying it.

YUP! I can smell both lemon and orange and they are delightful!

It has a cloudy/texturey look to the post infused liquid.
The taste is quite good tho! It’s citrus and sweet. A nice surprise.

Geoffrey Norman

Citrusy and lemony are the only ways to take mate, I’m convinced.

TeaEqualsBliss

As it cools at room temp for just a few mins I’m enjoying it even more with the lemon and orange…I think I will increase my rating, actually…

I took a long overdue to the Post Office today! I sent packages to: Anne, Carolynne, Meghann, and Nichole! So sorry for the delay!

As for this tea – I have had it before but this is the last of my stash! It’s a nicely flavored green…check out my previous notes.

I’m getting ready to have Dr. McDougall’s Vegan Curry Brown & Wild Fruited Pilaf for Lunch and thought this might go well with it.

This smells pretty and slightly citrusy. It has a neat green-grey post infusion color that I don’t think I have seen before.

The green tea is a tad celery-eque and the orange peel is a perfect addition!

This is very VERY nice. Uplifting. Makes me smile!

This one was hiding from me too! Oops! I like finding tea surprises tho…it’s like finding $10 in your pocket! LOL

I can smell the mango and strawberry a little bit above the other ingredients here! This ‘brews’ dark – a heavy reddish brown Rooibos type color.

This has a delicious taste I can taste the strawberry and Currants mostly. The aftertaste is more of a mango/papaya, I guess, regardless this is a very nice flavored Rooibos! YUM!

Loose tea smells awesome. Very fruity.

Tastes interesting. I like the fact that fruit isn’t totally overtaking the scent of green tea. In the citrus fruit blends that often happens.
It’s not sweet. Bit acid actually. For my taste it’s missing some fullness – smoothness.

I came to realise that I really like plain quality green tea. Blends I prefer with black tea.

This one is refreshing and quite tasty but doesn’t wow me at all. Solid rating tho…

Nice blend. I’m just getting a hint of pu-erh tho. Bergamot is strongest in it. It’s quite refreshing and all the ingredients did blend in quite well. Color is dark brown somewhere in between black and pu-erh. Smells of bergamot. It’s better than earl gray.
I like this combo.

malomorgen sent this to me from Croatia! Thanks malomorgen!

This is a murky grey-brown in color. Smells like mint and gunpowder teas

It tastes fairly herbally AND grassy green tea or gunpowder tea and minty.

I’m drinking this hot but think it would be better iced.

It’s ok tho

malomorgen strikes again! Thanks so much for sending this to me!!!!

The aroma intensifies during infusion. It’s woodsy, floral, and fruity.

I think I can smell more of a elderberry/raspberry combo after infusing. It has a different yet pleasant scent.

The taste is a little mellower than I thought it would be but it’s quite good. I’m thinking this would be another good one ICED.

Woot!

malomorgen sent me this one! Thanks so much!!! :)

This Black and Green Tea Blend is certainly YUMMY! I can smell the black and green teas and the strawberry…almost candied.

I can taste the strawberry and vanilla adds the creaminess to it…lovely. This maybe the the first time I have had tea with mistletoe in it…and it’s “A-O-K” with me!

YUM! This is great

Auggy

I thought mistletoe was poisonous?!?

Auggy

(Or is that just to livestock?)

LiberTEAS

Auggy: I was thinking the same thing.

TeaEqualsBliss

uht-oh! LOL

Here is some info I found

I also googled and it said it depends on the type of mistletoe, I guess…

Auggy

Hmm, so I suppose if it is processed, you are okay!

malomorgen

Randomly selected this one from my pile. Check out my previous review. In addition to those notes…

today this smells a little nutty and a little like a flavored coffee.

Strong Aroma.

:)

malomorgen

yep it’s kinda more like irish coffee than irish whiskey ;)

Thanks malomorgen!!!
This is very dark in color and gently smells like hot cocoa – a creamy kind.
I’m so excited I am able to try this!!!

It tastes like a creamy cocoa taste but not overly sweet. You can still taste the black tea. This is a neat cup – especially for first thing in the morning! It has almost a hint of coffee ‘idea’ to it but I can’t quite put my finger on it!?

Neat cup, malomorgen, neat cuppa! Thanks again!

malomorgen

lol you are very welcome :D that one is I think my favorite of all I’ve sent you (and the rooibos maybe). smells awesome. tastes quite good too. i’m drinking it as we speak actually :)

malomorgen

oh and beware of that silver needle – it’s not very good – i’m actually amazed how different it is comparing to Adagio’s…

Mushy weather giving me a bit of a headache. I need something gentle…
I’m mixing it half half with plain oolong. Idk why. To spend this oolong faster i guess. And give it more flavor. And cuz I’m bored. I’ll try not to put ratings when i do mixes of different teas.

Result: its slightly less strong on citrus. Hence i can feel the actual tea now. And feels less refreshing. I mean its not so gentle or neutral. Oolong gives it a more herbal note. But citrus fruits are still strongest flavor. Is not bad. For an experiment…

Headache is also gone :D

EDIT Second steep – added even more oolong to it and let it get cold. Yummm

OK so in the description of this one it says it tastes like orange and passion-fruit. Then in the ingredients they didn’t list passion fruit. Bit it definitely smells like it. Quite strong. And promising…

Its light green and clear. Yes i can taste citrus peels and i can taste passion-fruit. Very yummy. Light. Fruit takes over the green tea taste but it doesn’t feel artificial or anything. It’s a very nice blend. Think this is my favorite green now. Well kinda hard to compare cuz it’s totally fruity. OK it’s my favorite fruity green. Just keep in mind that i have tried just a few so far (and mostly teabags)…

I’m not super dooper excited about it but i’d buy this one again.

Its yellow. Quite bright. Smells very nice of orange peel and lemony.

It’s something that should go well with yerba mate’s freshness.
Quite strong on citrus thing.
I’d say its just OK…

Not one of the wow ones but sure one of the good ones. Nice evening tea. Pretty color as always.
Very nice long lasting fruity aftertaste.

Cheers!
