I heartily suggest that you drink this tea to be uplifted and have your senses calmed. It is delicious, just be aware that if steeped too long, it can be quite powerful in taste.

This fruity green tea blend is sweet without being sickeningly so, which is nice. Since the green tea component is a sencha, I would recommend brewing it at a gentler temperature to keep it from becoming bitter since the pomegranate flavor already adds a light sourness. It’s not my personal favorite, but it’s quite pleasant and might be better for someone who is just getting into green tea.

Found this one at a local gourmet shop. I figured that for the price, and given the lovely, spicy aroma, even if it was bad it’d be useful for something.

Luckily, it’s not! It is a little weak, but with the big chunks of orange peel, I probably skimped on the leaves a bit, so I’ll reserve judgement on that count until the next cup. But the oranges and cloves! Both are strong enough to flavor this really nicely, but not overwhelming in the least; the orange is more sweet than citrusy, and the cloves give just a hint of spice that is really great. I think it could use a little more clove, but only a little, and I would probably eat them straight if I could so I’m not the best judge.

Not going to rate this until I have another cup, but I’m excited to try again. And to try the other two I got from the same shop!

And that’s a wrap! I decided that I might as well rack up two sipdowns today, and that’s what I’ve done.
Wahoo! Another sip closer to my goals.

This is going to be sipped down very soon, and that’s going to be a good thing. Its held up remarkably well, but its quite an elderly tea.
No more teas that are several years old! New cupboard goal.

Not intentional that this tea meets the somewhat corny romantic theme of the day, but it does. I’m not gonna fight it! Loving tea, after all, is the whole point of me being here!

This was very floral, which was nice! A perfumy, rose cloud. It rather took over from the tea base, but its a nice floral flavor, so I hardly noticed.

I’m not even down to my cupboard sipdown goals, and already I feel energized by my new, smaller cupboard.
No longer am I feeling so overwhelmed by all my teas! It feels easier to enjoy them, without a massive pressure from all the other tea I have, and I’m loving watching the “times drunk” counter go up. (I live for small thrills like that).
Which is a long way around of saying that this cup, while not special in its own right today, is being enjoyed because its taking me closer and closer to a smaller cupboard.
Also, when I get a manageable amount of tea, I will run much less of the risk of it getting too old, as this has done.

This is working so freaking well as an at-work tea. It goes down easily, it has a nice enough hint of rosy flavor to it, and I am making great strides towards drinking it down. Huzzah!

I know I had a cup of this. I remember brewing it! But do I really remember how it tasted. Er, not really. Whoops.
Hmm, does not bode well for this blend, does it?

Oooh boy. The last time I reviewed this tea was four years ago. Four years! Aaaargh!
Into the work bag it went today, and now its on my desk, where it is going to get sipped down, darn it all.
I blame this reticence on my imperfect relationship to green tea. I’m never the worlds # 1 green tea fan, but as I get older I’m finding it easier to appreciate. Me of the past, however, was perfectly willing to shove teas to the back of the cupboard and ignore them for years.
Well, that stops with this cup!
I’m afraid age has taken some of the shine off of this. Its got a mellow, strawberry sort of flavor to it, but nothing special. Nothing bad, either. So I’ll get this drunk down soon enough!

Green tea. I am not green teas number one fan, though I’m hardly anti green. This has got lots of lovely fruitness to it, which makes it a thoroughly drinkable green for me.
The quest for green continues! I go on a lot of tea quests, now that I think about it…..

Green tea! I confess that I have never really liked green tea. Admitting that makes me feel a bit like a bad tea drinker. But I’m adventurous enough to try some new ones, as its very likely that I just don’t like grocery store bagged green tea.
I picked this up at a little fair that happens in my local area, and thought that it smelled so lovely that I brought some home with me.
I really like fruit and rose flavors, so if any cup of tea would convince me to go green, this is it.
I like it! Its not a fav, or an everyday cup, but now and then I’m happy to sip some Love Tea # 3.

Well, this is interesting. I’m tasting a sort of smooth but unexciting black tea, and some light sweetness from the flower petals, and maaaaybe the barest hint of citrus fruit that’s so light I could just be fooling myself. But somehow it is working for me. Really, really working.

The weirdest part? It sort of smells, to me at least, like freshly polished wood. (Not like Lemon Pledge polished, but like that oil you use? I don’t know. It smells woodsy but not in a dusty, dry way.) It’s not strong, and it’s actually pretty nice, too.

Not really an exciting tea, and doesn’t really live up to the listed ingredients, but it is a nice one, and well worth the $3 I paid for a decent amount. (They didn’t have the amount printed on the bag, but I gave right around half to a friend and have maybe 1.5 ounces left.)
