Gong Cha

I was shopping at the mall earlier in the week, and decided to pick up a bubble tea to sip on while I shopped. This was from the summer menu, and was honestly pretty good! I got it half sweet, though it was still pretty sweet with a very candied pineapple flavour that went really well with the coconut jelly it was served with. Very pina colada like! To my surprise, the milk foam wasn’t sweet at all. I did expect more of that sweet cheesecake-y foam so it was a little disappointing, but then I came to appreciate how it added richness in mouthfeel while cutting back on the more syrupy elements of the drink.
