This is pretty true to it’s description. It’s smells like plum and cinnamon…plain and simple. It brews quickly. You can primarily taste the black tea with cinnamon first and then plum and it ends with cinnamon too. It’s not overly cinnamon but the cinnamon taste does seem to morph as you sip. And the cinnamon isn’t a candy-like cinnamon it’s a true cinnamon spice flavor but the plum cuts it down to size and it blends well. This tea surprised me with it’s taste. Fairly bold for a cheap bagged tea.

I’d only rated this a 60 before? I guess this is one that grows on you! I don’t know if blackcurrants are traditionally associated with a given season, but it definitely tastes like summer to me! I’m planning on trying this iced eventually too.
Preparation
Bagged Bonanza for today as my hot water source broke!!!
BB stands for Bagged Bonanza #1:
I’m sending a few bags to some friends and SIPPING DOWN one last bag. Today this tasted a bit like warm orange juice. Still not my fave from this company but I am doing a BB today (Bagged Bonanza) and needed a pick-me-up! See previous notes…
Thought I would revisit this tea today. Before steeping you can smell the orange. After steeping you can’t. You can smell the Ginseng instead. It’s comparable to a medium oolong in color. There isn’t much taste for everything it has in it. And I steeped LONG. It’s not bad. Not my favorite either.
