I’m not really sure where they got their flavor inspiration here. The flavor was quite mild, more like an herbal health tea than something I would drink for fun. There’s some tartness, but too much herbaceous flavor. It comes out muddled and not very pleasant. Possibly a shorter steep or cold brew would be better, but I’m not interested enough to try. The base is mostly raspberry leaf. I guess since this brews up red, maybe it’s supposed to be blood in the water? I have much tastier red-colored teas though!

I greatly enjoyed drinking this this morning at the Cleveland Tea Revival. Nothing like enjoying a couple of pots of tea while working on some homework in the morning sunshine. This tea has a wonderful smooth ripe pu-erh taste. A nice sweet, dirty, and woody aroma.
