Smooth and creamy blend, love the scent of matcha! Best of all, the tea bags are very convenient for enjoyment at the office. If you don’t have an issue with the price tag, this blend is definitely worth a try!

drank Japanese Mu Tea by Clearspring

I grew quite attached to this as a caffeine-free tea for bedtime but it’s all gone for now. It is a tea that grew on me over a period of months. It would never be a favourite but it’s perfectly satisfactory

It’s not bad for a caffeine-free hot drink. Not too sweet, but there is some sweetness. I like the licquorice, seems to be the dominant flavour although there are apparently lots of other herbs in it (according to the package). It’ll do, for 10.30pm on a work night

Bland and lacking in dimension, with a hint of staleness. The content of the teabag is powdery and brittle, unlike the whole and unblemished leaves I am used to in Teapigs products.

drank Organic Genmaicha by Clearspring

Pleh.

It’s vaguely drinkable but out of five or six genmaichas I’ve tasted it’s the worst. Muddy instead of nutty. Possibly the loose leaf tea would taste better, because the contents of the teabags are very crumbly and dusty (though after tasting this I’m not dropping the money to find out.)
