Pre-Steep:
Smells like Lemon, Licorice, and Mint
a very strange aroma – not that THAT is good, bad, or indifferent, just STRANGE!

While Steeping this bag:
Lemon, Orange, Ginger aroma
liquid is a cloud yellow-ish/light green color

Sipping notes…
While inhaling on the sip I can smell more lemongrass than before. I can pick up on a little ginger too
taste – oh…um…oh…not sure…eeeeeek…
licorice and not-so-gentle tasting licorice. I don’t think I like that taste…it then goes to the lemongrass and then back to the licorice.

If this didn’t have the licorice dancing all around like a prima-donna this would have been a lot better. The licorice is over powering everything else. I can’t say I am very fond of this but then again I have had much worse tasting teas/tisanes.

Asian Spicy? I wasn’t sure how to take that until I took my first and 2nd sip…and…that’s really the only way one could describe this! Mostly because it WAS the first thing that came to mind…the aroma reminded me of a regional Asian Restaurant I have eaten at!

As for the taste – it’s fairly smooth but spicy and fruity and sweet. I can taste the spices, but can also taste the orange notes. There is a good deal of vanilla that I can taste, too. This is good! I like this more than I thought I would!

malomorgen sent me this one a while back and I just located it in my stash again! I can really smell the fennel in this! One steeped I can smell more rose and Coriander but the Fennel is still there and identifiable!!!

It’s cloudy light brown in color.

I really thought this was going to taste medicine-E and Herbally but it’s alright! There is a hint of berry and a bit more lemon/lemon balm mixed in with the herbs/spice.

What an interesting cup! Very relaxing and gently flavored.

I was SO excited about this one cuz I’ve never heard of coriander in tea… until I read “fennel”- crap. :(

Looking for something fruity and nice. Hopefully this one will be. So far i love the tisanes from Chinois d’Or.
Color is dark yellow / light brownish. Clear.
Doesn’t smell strong. Mostly coriander.

Oh idk, tastes a bit blah… you know coriander. But then again, maybe… i kinda like it too… (sips more) nah not really. its drinkable but blah. its ummm boring…

EDIT after adding honey its way better. gotta lift the rating a bit…

Smells nice. Just barely feel that pure jasmine scent that i dislike.

Color is becoming dark red. Maybe even most red tea I’ve had so far. Which is slightly surprising for a vanilla/jasmine tea.

Taste is quite fruity, can feel hibiscus, ginger, cardamom a bit. Idk about vanilla and jasmine – its just too much strong scents in it to recognize them all. Slightly acid. Has some exotic taste in it, ginger and cardamom give it a nice kick but it’s still just bit above average fruit herbal tea.
Gotta try with a teaspoon of honey. Might make it better.
Yes it is somewhat better. Not great…

I’m in the mood for a yummy yummy tea. Lets go check if it will impress me like last time…
Its still awesome. Only thing i would change is licorice root. I don’t like licorice. I find it weirdly sweet. I’d take it out…
I can luckily just barely feel it in this tea so its still great.
Sooo tasty…

Oh and lol the ziploc bags that i ordered so i can send people samplers came in today. They are tiny hehe. I totally got it wrong. They can fit tea like just enough to make one cup – two tops. But i do have 500 of those now :D Oh well i’d be surprised if it wasn’t me.

I’m still waiting for my ziplock bags to arrive — and they need to soon for the Geek Pride contest! (I purchased around 300) :)

OMG this smells so irresistible! Chai spices, vanilla… something else too that i find so mmmm. Hope it tastes like this :D Rooibos and chai spices combo sounds quite compelling.

Color is turning pretty orange-red, not very clear…
Tastes yummy. Quite fruity. Quite vanilla. Just a hint of chai. Not spicy really. Normally i’d leave it unsweetened because i’m kinda loving it like this but ill try it with honey and milk as they recommend on their website.
First honey… well for me was better without because it’s sweet by itself but its still very good.
Now bit of milk… yep yep very yum again :D Becomes quite mild. Think i found my perfect evening caffeine free tea.

I’ll give it the perfect rating today just because it surprised me so nicely…

I don’t like it this time. Too much licorice taste. Not sure what I was thinking last time i rated it :) It was probably steeped different or something. Idk…
