I bought this in Cape Town, SA where it is grown, at the recommendation of our guide. I can’t comment on the vaunted health benefits because I drink this sparingly, not knowing where I’ll find more buchu. It is slightly minty, grassy. The box says you can add honey or lemon and even milk, but I like it plain. Cape Kingdom also suggests making iced tea with lemons and oranges and a dollop of honey. It is mild yet distinctive, if that makes sense.
