I was so thrilled to find this at my grocery store – loose, for 99 cents/oz. I really like rooibos, and I wanted to get plain old rooibos for blending with other teas/herbs/flavorings. This is great on its own, or with a splash of soymilk. Nice earthy flavor and a subtle sweetness, like I would expect from a rooibos.

Mint makes a great combination with green tea, and this blend is lovely. It is good on its own as a hot tea, but where I really enjoy it is combined with jasmine green tea and iced. So very refreshing! I anticipate brewing a lot of the jasmine mint green tea this summer.

Getting back into tea logging with an old favorite. Fruity and malty. I’m enjoying this hot, but I might do the second steep iced.

Oh no, I am running low on this! How can the tea cabinet be so full, yet I am running low on several favorites? I think it’s time for spring cleaning.

This is one of my favorites. A nice blend of black and fruit flavors. The currant flavor holds its own but is not overpowering. I guess the description of “malty” is accurate for the black tea flavor. I usually drink this hot, but I think it would also make a nice iced tea. I prefer this tea with no milk or sweetener.

As a sidenote, although this tea is fairly strong (I use about a teaspoon of leaves in a large mug, maybe 16 oz), sometimes the color seems a bit weak. I usually swish around the infuser at the end of the steep, which darkens the color, and I’ve never noticed variation in the actual taste of the tea.

This is great on its own, or blended with Cameron’s Moroccan Mint green tea and iced – that is my favorite iced tea.

Okay I’m new to rooibos. This is the second I have tried, the first being ROT-they taste very similar to me. I enjoy it but it does not leave me with the passion to have more.

Coppery color is an understatement – This tea is red! Super good for you though and great to mix with other teas. Again, I found this guy at Cub Foods. Great deal for rooibos tea.
