Allure Tea

Typical African CTC: lots of depth with notes of apple and wheat, I would say. Perhaps this makes it “malty,” but not in the Assam sense. I find that Kenyan CTC and Orthodox teas are very different from one another, and the CTC teas are undervalued and harder to find. I recommend this one, though I think I have had even better in the past.

Our entire family loves the particular Monk’s Blend tea from Allure Tea. They recently discontinued it and I tried to find a replacement. Tried Monk’s Blend teas from half a dozen other tea purveyors and its just not the same delicious, mellow, satisfying taste. Anyone else tried Allure’s Monk’s Blend and found another source that is similar?
