I ‘brewed up’ a double shot of this this morning and it was VERY BOLD and I liked it better than last time so I am upping the rating!

Meghann M

I think I have a sample of this, I may have to try it that way:)

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

You’re right Meghann you do have that one. :-)

Meghann M

:) I think I’ll set that out for myself in the morning. I could use a bold start to my morning tomorrow. Sleep schedule has been so wacky lately it’s hard to get up at an earlier hour.

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I totally understand. Do let us know how it turned out. I may want to give that a shot too.

Meghann M

Will do:) Hopefully amazing caffeine in a cup!

Dry Leaf Smell: a creamy black flavored tea
Smell while infusing: Cream, Black Tea, a slight hint of Earl Grey
Post infusion smell: A mild Earl Grey with a hint of vanilla or Cream
Wet Leaves Smell: Earl Grey sort of but also Lavender and a hint of Bergamot

Color: Medium Brown

Tasting Notes: First sip was FULL of smooth…like slippery…mission accomplished right away! 2nd sip is relaxing and still velvety on the tongue. Mild Black Tea Taste and Mild Earl Grey. Nice!

The tea wasn’t as light and crisp as I hoped it would be. More like a syrup but I am almost sure if iced it would be much better. So now that it has been reformulated I will have to reorder it and try it again. However, as is it wasn’t terrible it was good but just now what I expected to be. The new version contains mostly citron green with small percentages of apricot and vanilla. I will add more notes as soon as I ice the original version of what I have reviewed.

I enjoyed this tea very much. More than I expected to. I really got the “green” feeling that I was hoping for in this tea. The peppermint and lime mix very well together, enough to say it has created a new flavor on it’s own. The rum however is more in the background which is interesting since it that the highest percentage in the tea. I also enjoyed this tea better with sweetener versus none. I would give this one a try.

I felt this tea was a more of a delicate tea. Something to sip with my little pinkie extended of course. Ha-Ha :o) It has a mellow peach flavor with a touch of vanilla and almond in the back. I’ll bet this would taste amazing iced with a little sweetener. Delicious.

I drank this all up today! Yes! I am feeling accomplished! :) This was a good tea! Nice blend of spices. It was best mixed with milk and sugar, otherwise, it tasted too strong. My husband felt sick after drinking this. I think he may be sensitive to the tannins… He feels that way about a lot of black teas.

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I am thrilled you love this one. Though I’m sorry your husband felt sick. Like you said it must be something with black tea. Just an FYI I’m working on a reblend on this one. It will be available on my site. Both www.iHeartTeas.com and www.Etsy.com/shop/iHeartTeas just be sure to keep it away from the hubby. :)

Definitely craved this tea today even though it is a black tea. I lightly steeped it and added a lot of milk and some sugar. SO delicious! This is a perfect beverage for this morning as it snowed overnight! I love the spices and how creamy it was.

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

So glad you enjoyed this and I am so happy to add that I plan on reblending this just for iHeartTeas.com. Reading this review only reinforces my need to recreate this and add it to my permenant collection. Thank you! :)

I can’t believe I haven’t written anything about this in a while. This tea is perfect for this season! This is one of my favorite Adagio custom blends. It is perfect for the fall. It has a nice spicy scent and flavor to it. I will attempt to make this over the stove!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

That’s fantastic :) Drink up, tis the season…cheers

The dry leaf smelled of spices… Maasala chai is what came to mind. Once I steeped it, it was so delicious! I added milk and sugar, and the flavors were outstanding! This makes it in my top 5 favorite signature blends! It is a nice cozy tea. Great for winter. It does remind me of Halloween as there is a slight apple flavor to it, but I mostly tasted the spices and cinnamon. I love chai, and when I buy a tin of this, I’ll try to make it on the stove.

DELICIOUS!!! I used the leaves 4 times!

Kinda surprised they didn’t add pumpkin to it. Sounds good! Glad the apple came thru:)

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I am so glad you enjoyed my creation and I specifically didn’t include pumpkin because I wanted to make this tea unique from other Halloween blends that mostly included pumpkin.

Peach and Nuts! I enjoy trying teas and trying to figure out what flavors are there and what type of tea it is. By looking at the dry leaves, I was guessing oolong. They smelled faintly peachy. After I had steeped it, the peach flavor and scent came on full strength in a good way. It was followed by a warm, nutty flavor and aftertaste, which I love.

This must have been the almond oolong! Some oolongs have that nutty warm taste on my palate. I enjoyed this treat. After tasting it plain, I decided to try it with a little sugar and milk, which didn’t take away from the flavor. Good tea, happy me!

For some reason this was not as strong as I had expected it to be. Perhaps it has been touched by air for quite some time. I’m not sure. But it smells spicy. The taste is of a very mild sweet and spice, just like the name. It tastes almost like regular black tea with a hint of spices. It is a comfort tea, and it is great for cozy-ing up at home during a winter storm. I didn’t try it with sugar or milk, which is great! This tea isn’t bitter. Overall a good cuppa.

Dry: rooibos + fruit mix. Smells fruity!

The making: used my ceramic teapot. I love that I can share tea!

Steeped: The aroma – smells like juice! Tastes fairy tart and sweet. I let it sit until it was cool and I actually enjoyed it even more. I saved a little bit to cold brew for tomorrow or later today. I can’t wait to try it.

YUMMY! This has a nice mix of acidity and soft spices and gourmand. I love the earl grey’s citrus accent. The vanilla taste complemented it well. Overall strong and great blend. I added some milk and sugar to it, which IMO brought out the flavor more.
