Thank you to Rachel for sending me this tea to try!

My initial sip tells me that it is very smooth and creamy tasting – which based upon my limited experience with the adagio black tea base – a smooth, creamy start is a really GOOD thing. I’m not tasting a LOT of the Earl Grey notes, but, I do get a hint of it towards the end of the sip – kind of like a tip of the hat from the suave gentleman, letting me know that he is here, but he’s letting the sweeter vanilla and cream play the star role here.

My experience with the Adagio signature blends is admittedly quite limited – but I really am enjoying this one. Well done, Rachel!

Thanks for the “Well done!”. I especially loved the suave gentlemen comparison. :-)

Mmm. Can I tell you that after making up come Mate Chocolate for the husband to try, this smells simply delightful? Because it does. Like angelfood cake with some strawberries spread over it. Sadly, the taste doesn’t match up to the smell but it’s not the blend’s fault – it’s the Adagio flavored tea base. It’s too strong and not very smooth and just overtakes things. Sigh. This is why I always have Adagio flavored teas with sugar and creamer. Sadly, with additives, the tea base is made to take a step back, but it kind of mutes the lovely strawberry flavor. Now it tastes like vanilla cake with a hint of strawberry syrup decorating the icing. All in all, a tasty, fluffy tea that has the potential for awesome-ness but ends up as just good.

Another blend from Rachel! You rock the blends, girl!
:)

There IS something springy and airy about this…so I can totally make the connection to Spring! It’s still true to the green tea taste and the 3 flavors mesh nicely. I really can’t tell who is trying to cut to the front of the line…or maybe they aren’t trying at all. Regardless this is a tasty green!

Boo-YA! (And I mean that in the coolest way!)
CHEERS!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

Oh you are too kind. insert blushing and giggle here Funny thing I actually removed that blend since it wasn’t doing well. I on the other hand do have a bunch left. Maybe you will get a surprise in the future.

TeaEqualsBliss

OoooooO!
:)
Oh!!! yeah…I have removed several of mine as well. I need to add some that I have been throwing around lately…might do that tonight, actually.

Rummy. Irishy. Minty. Malty. Black and Green and Herbally. Thanks Rachel for sharing this with me,

Many of you know I LOVE my MINT! this is nice! BUT…there is MORE to it than just ‘mint’. That is nice too!

I am thinking several things with this…like…can I add something alcoholic to it!? Should I get crazy and add chocolate milk or chocolate soy milk? Should I do a tea float!? Add it to ice cream!?

HAHAHAHA!!!!!

What the heck am I thinking! This is great by itself but it makes me think all sorts of oddball thoughts too!

Maybe I should switch to oolongs and herbals and decaf for the rest of the day…oh…and whites…I need a white tea! Not totally departing from the caffeine but just no more black!?

But-but-but!!!!! I don’t wanna!!!!!!! Whaaaaa!
WOW…that little outburst was random.

Honestly, tho, this is good stuff!!!! Great job – Rachel!

Another Rachel Blend! YAY!

I’m really going out in left field with this one! WHY? You ask…

Well, it’s NOT Christmas! I don’t even want to THINK about Winter or cold weather!!! It’s JUST starting to get nice! LOL Well, that AND I don’t usually go-for these ingredients. It’s not that I don’t like them it’s just that I’m not usually drawn to them.

So I am really challenging myself here.

The aroma is very light but warming. What I can smell of it is the Chestnut and a tad of caramel. I’m not smelling much cinnamon – but I’m fine with that.

It infuses pretty dark brown.

I really like the fact that the Black Tea taste is upfront and the flavors are on the assist. The flavors play nice together like on a merry-go-round. They circle around in your mouth nicely. I can taste the Chestnut and Caramel pretty much equally and the cinnamon acts as the caboose. I like it! The cinnamon is JUST RIGHT…it’s really all you need.

This is a great surprise and I must say I am a fan!

Another Rachel Blend! YAY!

It’s the Rooibos of the Day, folks!!!

Fruity and Rooibos nose. Rooibos and Strawberry to taste….but also Pear!? Interesting lil diddy.

Pretty good HOT and I’m sure it would be even better ICED. I’ll have to put that to the test soon!

VERY Grateful I could try this thanks to Rachel!

I can primary taste the Gingerbread. It’s very light on the other flavors. If you like Gingerbread you will like this. I can’t say as I am a Gingerbread freak by any means but this was a fairly good tea and a nice treat!

Another Rachel Tea!!!! :)

This one really DOES Smell like Cherry Blossom! Woot!

It looks like your typical black tea once infused. I can taste the cherry and the floral noes more than the black or white tea tastes. The Cream comes in more at the end and gives it a nice finish. The aroma is what makes this one special. The taste is pretty darned good too! Lovely!

My aunt loves this tea to the point that she wants brewed in a huge vat and a big straw. She made me crack up when she said it.

EXACTLY how it’s described. Sweet Strawberries and Cream. This is very flavorful! More strawberries than Cream…very nice!

Thanks Rachel!

Peach and oolong always seem to go well together, imho, that is. This is another Rachel Blend! She spoiled me!!!!

This smells like a mellow peach and tastes like a nutty-oolong-peach…it that order. The aftertaste is peachy and that lingers which is ok in my book.

The more I drink the more I think it’s very nutty! The peach is a sweet surprise at the end of the sip…pretty good, indeed!

A nutty-oolong-peach?! I’m intrigued once again by one of your tasting notes…this will have to be another I add to my “list” LOL

I see that my SororiTEA Sista hasn’t logged this yet so I will send her what I have left! This is the 3rd tea I am trying in my new Libre Teas Loose Leaf Glass Cup. There is a YouTube Video that I should have probably watched first but I wanted to jump right in! LOL – This tea looks to be infusing quite well with it.

There is a gentle coconut and vanilla taste but it’s a nicely flavored black tea, too!

Coconut!? I’m game! But there isn’t very MUCH coconut…to see or smell. Hence the CALM part!? Perhaps.

This is another blend by Rachel and I’m very happy I get to try it!!! YAY!

It does SMELL calm – that is certain. It’s not LOUD coconut at all.

Taste…YES…it IS creamy. I can taste some coconut. I would say I can taste it more than I can smell it. I LOVE COCONUT tho…so this is lovely…subtle, but lovely.

So…based on the name it IS creamy, calm, and coconut = mission accomplished! Woot!
Thumbs Up From ME!!!

The Blood orange was pretty loud today but I could still smell and taste a nice chocolate underneath. The rum wasn’t as noticeable but overall this was a very different yet tasty tea. I think I like it a bit more cold over the hot version…another goodie!

Kristen

I love EDWARD!!!! ;)

Dry Leaf Mixture Smells like orange and a bit like an adult beverage…I’m intrigued by this aroma.

This is another Rachel Blend. YAY!

As it infuses…POW!!!!!! Chocolate! Chocolate!? WOW! There’s CHOCOLATE in here!? Neat…

It ‘brews’ up to a reddish brown color. I can smell black tea, blood orange, and chocolate. There is ‘something’ else there…MUST be the rum!!!!

The taste…the Blood orange hits you first. I wonder what percentage it is!?

It’s tart but quickly fades into the other flavors, thankfully. There is a rummy-likeness to it next. I’m having a hard time finding the chocolate but I KNOW it’s there…maybe moreso in the aroma…

Ah!!!! There it is…if you take a quicker sip as it cools and once it hits towards the back of your mouth before the swallow you can taste a neat Blood Orange and Chocolate combo…yeah. Okay…cool…I’m diggin’ this.

At first I thought it would be too tart but like I said that tartiness fades a bit and goes into other flavors. As this cools a little I am liking it more. I am looking forward to trying this iced as well…for now my rating is solely based on the hot cuppa. A very creative blend. It’s growing on me more and more. I think it’s tasty and risky…kind of like Edward!? Hum…maybe. I mean, I’m not gaga over Edward but the actual character traits fit this bill, I suppose.

Neat stuff! Give it a chance!!!!

Had a cup of this this morning and it was very creamy but the black tea taste was still fairly bold!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I know if we ever did something like a secret Santa on Steepster and I got you. That I would probably get a pouch of this for you. I know you really like. I am glad, it is also one of my hubby’s favorites.

TeaEqualsBliss

The creaminess-level is ‘right on’ many companies either overdue it or don’t do it enough! Or they just taste artificial and that takes away a lot for me. YOURS is a goodie, indeed! Thanks again!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

You’re welcome as always.
