Today has been a long rainy day. Was very slow at work but I have been very sore so thankful for my cancellation. Two clients was perfect for today. Also was able to get some much needed dry needling done yay! I have been very tense and stressed lately and this tea seemed to be just what I needed. It smells amazing. Very flowery and sweet like clovers. Mmmm this taste amazing! It’s very calming and relaxing. It tastes like flowers with raw sugar and some woodyness. It’s even kinda creamy with a hint of vanilla. I definitely need to buy more of this!! It’s so savoury! I think I’m going to make a second cup. I also made some iced tea for tomorrow if its nice out.

I received my verdant order in the mail last week and finally actually got to taste one. This one seemed to call my name so I decided to have this one first. Its very nutty to me, like roasted walnuts and coconut. I get the slightest floral after taste that is suppose to be jasmine. I don’t get any caramel flavour but perhaps next time I will add some honey to help bring it out more. I definitely get a scotch flavour in there. I actually enjoy it a lot.

I am very excited to be finally trying this tea. Right off the bat I ordered 1 oz. Dry it smells sweet and earthy. At first it tastes silky and smooth. When reading the description on the website before I ordered it, I didn’t believe that a tea could taste silky. I expected it to be creamy but I was delightfully wrong. It has just the right amount of sweetness, like honey but with the slightest resemblance of brown sugar. The aftertaste is a hint of cinnamon and cloves, that gives just the slightest warming effect in the back of my throat. mmm this is so good! So glad I got 1 oz. Everyone should try this tea!!

I havent had this in a while so I decided to have this yesterday morning. I don’t know what it is but this does not taste as good as I remember. It tastes like soap. I couldn’t even finish my cup I had to dump it. Hopefully next time it will taste better and less like soap. Because I have a lot of this.

Decided to try this tea this morning, received it in my last order as a sample. This tea reminds me of read my lips a bit. But the peppermint is stronger and it is sweeter. At first it tastes like chocolate then sweet peppermint. It is smooth and creamy. I actually like how it is sweeter rather than a sharp cool peppermint. It actually caught me by surprise. I like read my lips a lot and I thought this one wouldn’t be as good. Its actually better!

I was craving an oolong this morning so I decided on give this one a try. I decided to use my going of teapot. I rinsed my leaves (1tsp) twice.

Steep 1: steeped for 20 sec. It tastes earthy and sweet. So much honey, but its also creamy. In the aftertaste I get some grapefruit? Mmm yum I love the refreshing aftertaste.

Steep 2: steeped for 30 sec. In this steep the honey is stronger and I am starting to get a taste of floral. The grapefruit is still present in the aftertaste :)

Steep 3: steeped for 40 sec. There is more floral this time but a bit less honey. The grapefruit in the aftertaste is a bit less in the aftertaste now.

Steep4: steeped for 50 sec. The floral continues to increase with each steep but the creamy taste from the first steep has returned and is quite a bit stronger. There is still some honey and grapefruit.

I was definitely surprised with this tea regarding the grapefruit. Gonna have to get more of this.

Mmm dry this smells of orange, and jasmine!!! Why oh why did I only get a sample of this?! The tieguanyin tastes so good as always. But with the orange, jasmine, saffron, and Frankincense, it has gone to a whole new level of deliciousness :) this tea is so refreshing, and calming yet energizing all at the same time. I could for sure drink this everyday! The orange makes it feel so light, the jasmine so calming mmmm I love how all these flavours swirl around in my mouth. I need to have more of this, I sure hope verdant has it again soon!

This morning I have been craving something spicy. So I decided to try this tea. Dry it smells like ginger, peppercorn and other spices. mmm wet it smells like ginger snaps!! Oh my god yum! This tastes so good! Ginger, cinnamon, and is that vanilla in there?? Yes it is! Wow I love this. The aftertaste is smooth and I can taste chocolate that is Laoshan black tea. There is of course a nice warming effect in the back of my throat from the ginger and peppercorn. Its actually making my nose run haha. There is the perfect blend of spices, not too much fennel but just enough, and just enough clove that its not overpowering but gives you the taste of yummy gingersnaps. I am definitely going to have to buy much more of this :)

I found this tea to actually be quite refreshing. Steep 1: 10sec with 8 oz water. Tasted of sweet grass and floral. It even had a hint of honey in there. Steep 2: steeped for 15 sec. The floral and honey was stronger in this steep. The taste reminded me of spring :) Steep 3: steeped 20sec. I found this steep to be almost creamy. The floral and honey seemed more blended together. In the aftertaste there was a hint of sweet grass.

Overall very good and refreshing. Spring in a cup :)

Steep 1: steeped for 10sec with 8oz water. Taste like buttery, clove, and honey goodness! Mmmm! In the aftertaste I taste ginger. I hope that comes out more in later steeps!

Steep 2: steeped 13sec. This steeped the buttery and clove increased. The honey was about the same. Aftertaste the ginger actually decreases a bit.

Steep 3: steeped 15 sec. This steep there was just a hint of honey. The buttery flavour was a bit stronger but the floral really came out in this steep.

Steep4: steeped for 20 sec. The buttery flavour was less noticeable in this steep. Once again the floral increased in this steep.

I really enjoyed this tea. Just wish there had been a bit more ginger but still a great tea :)
