Yikes.
Wayyyy too much stevia, overwhelms any other flavor. Maybe way in the background I can taste what might be cinnamon? The black tea is totally lost.

Holy cow. Easily my favorite bagged tea, I just wish it was easier to find. Consider adding a splash of rumchata or other spiced liquor ;)

Not great iced or hot. The almost tobacco-like mate flavor just gets overwhelmed by the artificial fruit flavor.

Great jasmine pearls! One of the best offerings through this vendor I’ve had. Steeps easily 4 times Western style, 10+ times gong fu style

Flavors: Floral, Jasmine, Perfume

(Western style) Not very good hot, preferred iced but still not great. Go gentle on this tea because it is not forgiving and will release plenty of bitterness

Flavors: Astringent, Mint, Pear, Sour

Good both hot and iced, really does taste like the cocktail (also works to incorporate it into the cocktail…)

I want to rate this higher because I really enjoy it and the “mateinated” feeling it gives me, but steeps very inconsistently. Mess around with temperature. Even between 95 to 100C, I got very different tastes out depending on just those 5 degrees.

Flavors: Almond, Coffee, Cream, Dark Chocolate, Hay, Tobacco

(Western style) I will admit, not a fan of Earl Grey tea to begin with, but this was particularly unpleasant when straight—bergamot too strong and the rose and chocolate tasted artificial. HOWEVER, it was somewhat salvaged by adding cream which hid the rose, brought out an almost alcohol/liquor aroma, and mellowed out the chocolate taste.

Flavors: Alcohol, Bergamot, Cacao, Chocolate, Rose
