Horrid. Over-flavoured and leaves a cloyingly sweet after taste.

fleurdelily

yes. Agreed. — Like a watered down version of a Harney tea, which are also cloyingly sweet and horrid.

This put me off trying Chai, but maybe it’s just a bad example.

Caitlin

Don’t give up on chai! This is a pretty strongly flavored example, there are much lighter flavors out there!

Bio

I am an avid tea-drinker, Earl Grey for preference, but enjoy most black teas (especially flavoured ones) and some green teas. I haven’t tried very many white, pu-erh or roobuish teas.

Loose leaf tea in a pot, no milk or sugar.
