I knew this is a smokey tea, but it’s a little too smokey for me. I couldn’t finish my cup, but it makes a good brine for chicken! The smokiness is really subtle in the chicken, so okay for brining…not so okay for drinking.

I got this as a free sample when my order from Upton Teas came in. I actually decided to make a latte with this instead of trying it plain, like I usually do when trying a tea for the first time.

It was really smooth with no astringency and stood up very well to all the milk (I made the latte a little milkier than I originally wanted). A very good breakfast type tea. I’m looking forward to trying it plain.

This makes a very vivid red cup of tea that has a very cherry flavor. I like having this when I want to drink something “juicy” but not actually have a cup of juice.

This was absolutely disgusting. It was like drinking a cup of perfume. The rose was so overwhelming.

My second time trying a white tea. This one is years better than the white tea pearls from Teavana. The flavor is light and very fruity. I would agree with the other review saying the fruityness does not resemble pomegranate, but it still is sure a tasty cup! It’s not overly floral but compliments the fruit flavor very well. Looking forward to drinking this again.

This tea is syrupy sweet! The lychee flavor is very strong in this tea. I would have this tea as a dessert…maybe with some lychee nuts thrown in. Mmmmm…

My sister picked up some of this from the Teavana at our local mall. This was the first time I ever tried a white tea. I cold brewed it like I do most of my teas. It brews up a light yellow colour and all I can taste is bitter. Not very enjoyable at all.

This makes a very tasty cold brew. The jasmine flavor is very prominent and the green tea base very smooth.

Hi, I’ve just discovered the wide world of tea. I’m still trying to find out what my preferences are, although I’ve discovered I enjoy Chinese teas more than Indians. I love ripe pu-erhs; I haven’t tried any raws yet, but would love to. Never tried oolongs before (hope to take care of that very soon). I like the flavor of plain teas, so I tend to avoid anything mixed with stuff. I do love those jasmine scented green though.
