This tea was sent to me to review for the Sororitea Sisters blog, and I reviewed it not long ago. I am finishing the sample today and still have the same reaction.

Hazelnut NOTES or hazelnut flavor added. Gotta be flavored added. (Picks up packer and checks.) Nope, hazelnut notes. Are they sure? Isn’t this hazelnut flavored? Like….added flavor? (Checks package again.) Nope. Still says hazelnut and mango taste.

That is how hazelnutty this tastes, guys. I don’t really eat mango, but I probably should since I don’t detect anything that I think is what mango would taste like, but I do know hazelnut and that is the main thing I am getting from this tea.

Super good and super flavorful. I have had yellow tea before and it was super subtle. And yes, apparently this is just how it really tastes. What a fun tea to try!

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
