Ended up enjoying this so much I purchased some. Not the cheapest tea, so I’ve been enjoying it sparingly, but it’s just really lovely and brightens my mood. Highly perfumed, and smells absolutely incredible.

Sipdown 65 – 2024

Probably not something I need to purchase again. Slightly smoky. Tobacco, sesame, cinnamon.

This cup is a bit overwhelming in flavor and is giving me a bit of a headache, so I think I may have overleafed the cup a bit.

A bit underwhelmed by this. The genmaicha is nice, but the spice level is lacking. Maybe I didn’t shake the bag enough?

This cup was particularly sweet and buttery. A touch too sweet, so reduced my previous rating.

Meh, unimpressed. Steeped with a short steep time and relatively cool water and it came out a touch bitter. Hay, rose, underripe stone fruits.

I love a green oolong, but this is just not good. Smells like raw pumpkin. Tastes like stale old seaweed. Very dusty/old tasting.

Slightly floral. Slight muscatel flavor. A bit muddy and an unidentifiable mix of flavors. A touch astringent.

Really woody, chocolatey aroma. Tastes like wet leaves. Wet, chocolatey leaves. Reminds me of a damp redwood forest.

Vaguely fruity aroma, but it’s just absolutely flavorless. Steeped it multiple times, different increments each time. Still flavorless.
