I have the same problem with this tea as I do with Adagio’s Rooibos Caramel — it smells heavenly, and is smooth to drink, but the vanilla is hardly there. Much to my surprise, I like the Celestial Seasonings vanilla rooibos better, and I’m not a big CS fan. I did get a sample of Upton’s version, too, so hopefully that will be better than either.

This tea is so soothing. I need it — been very stressed today.

I don’t like this tea. The chocolate flavoring makes the honeybush flavor seem far harsher than Adagio’s plain honeybush. And it’s not even that chocolately. Definite thumbs down.

Smooth and creamy as always. Caramel flavor still needs to be stronger, though.

I’m on my second infusion of this. It’s weaker than the first, and is sadly overwhelmed by the apple I’m eating at the same time. But it still smells lovely, and the first cup was excellent as usual.

This tea makes me happy — bright and malty and good with a touch of milk. Yummy.

Drinking this iced. I made it a little too strong, but it tastes wonderful.

Drinking this iced. It’s still kind of meh for me. My order of Upton Rote Grutze came in this afternoon, though, so I’ll be having GOOD iced tea soon.

Drank this about an hour ago, as I wanted something sweet without eating junk food. It hit the spot. This tea is definitely growing on me.

I haven’t had this tea in four days? Shocking. It’s just so good! I’ve been thinking about trying the green leaf version from Upton, just to see how the two compare. Curiosity, I haz it.
