8 Tasting Notes
My boyfriend’s mum bought me this tea for christmas, I was a bit a hestitant on drinking it as I’m generally not a fan on herbal teas. This tea is not sweet regardless of how it’s described. Despite not being sweet the tea isn’t too gross for me but I doubt I’ll brew this tea as often as my other teas.
The smell of the tea isn’t appealing to me either, it kind of reminds me of the scent of chamomile, and if you know me, you would know I hate chamomile tea. So that was not a plus. I would recommend this to someone who likes herbal and floral teas, especially those who enjoy chamomile.
Flavors: Floral, Herbaceous, Herbs, Jasmine, Rose
I tried this tea in my local T2 and I was suprised with the sweetness of this tea. It was like drinking pancakes with syrup but not in an overly sweet way. It was very confusing though but I enjoyed it regardless. Its now on my wishlist
Flavors: Maple Syrup, Pancake Syrup, Sweet
So it’s christmas time and I have been going to T2 and I kept seeing this tea available to drink, each time I had some and I quickly fell in love, so my bf being as amazing as he is bought it for me. This tea is like drinking a gingerbread cookie or drinking pfeffernusse biscuits which I love so much. T2 has this with soy milk and honey and tbh it tastes the best with soy milk and honey. I don’t have soy milk so I have regular milk which is still great. The only thing is I once over brewed my tea and I could not drink it the ginger was too strong so i suggest brewing it for less time.
This tea has strong taste of ginger and cinnamon. Which is perfect as a dessert but I have it for breakfast as it’s when I crave it the most.
The packaging is adorable but I hate how it comes only in bags and with only 25 of them.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cookie, Ginger, Sweet
This is my favourite tea of all time, I love the sweetness and the smell of this tea. It has taste of cinnamon and is perfect for sweet tea lovers. Sadly a friend has it and I wasn’t aware of it till after easter so I’m hoping they will sell it this easter again. It also has a very cute box.
Flavors: Bread, Cinnamon, Sweet, Vanilla
I’m not the biggest fan of herbal tea but I was at T2 one day and the colours and name made me curious about this tea. I asked the man working if he could brew it for me so I could try this. The tea tastes like green tea with minty and licorice undertones. I usually just brew one cup so it can be a bit strong but once I buy a teapot which is happening soon I will review this again.
For those who enjoy herbal teas and the taste of subtle mint and licorice this will probably be a must buy.
Flavors: Grass, Herbs, Licorice, Mint, Wood
I don’t own this tea but have had it multiple times at my partner’s mother’s house. It has a very cocoa flavour that compliments the black tea. I enjoyed it a lot but haven’t been able to find it at any T2s near me to buy for home which is annoying haha. I personally like it brewed for about four minutes and then put half of the brew in my mug and then top the rest with water.
Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa, Sweet
