1 Tasting Note
Finally managed to purchase some of this tea, as it was out of stock for a while in my local store. I’m getting a strange addiction to this tea and find myself craving it after trying it twice. Wasn’t sure about the heavy citrus quality at first, but I figured it might be a nice, refreshing tea for spring. I brewed my first cup for about 7 minutes, and wow, was it zingy. Extreme grapefruit flavours, slightly medicinal in quality, it was kind of love/hate at first. Love sip, hate sip, that’s how my first cup went, although the love grew deeper the more I kept drinking it, and the beautiful pink colour increased its appeal. Once I finished my cup, I was hooked. This tea would be delicious iced, as it tasted good even as it grew cool in the cup. Would definitely repurchase and can’t wait to try it iced when the weather warms up.
