drank Lychee Oolong by Butiki Teas
541 tasting notes

This was the second sample I tried from Butiki teas. (Thanks again!) I have always loved and craved lychee fruits and lychee flavored items. So I’ve been searching for a lychee tea that I would like. And this one just takes the cake. It’s very light and smooth. The smell of the un steeped leaves is pretty subtle, but when steeped the lychee flavor (and aroma!) are very strong. I would love to have just a cupboard filled with this tea.

drank Coconut Cream Pie by Butiki Teas

First, I have to thank Stacy of Butiki for sending me this sample! I really liked this rooibos. It was very light in the flavor department. The most amazing thing about it was how well the crusty and flaky flavors of creme pie came through on this. I was really surprised at how the creme flavor came through as well. The coconut isn’t as strong as the other flavors, but just as well! I would love a nice, large bag of this!
Also, I really liked that there was no feeling of dry mouth/throat after drinking this.

This has to be my favorite bottled tea. It’s so sweet that I can’t really say if this reminds me of tea in any way, but it is something I reach for every time I’m able to find it. It has a lot of flavors that mix well together. It’s a must have for me during the summer and especially for picnics!

The first thing you notice when you open this concentrate is a strong ginger snap smell. It’s important to note that this concentrate is much, much less sweet than other concentrates. I had to fiddle with this one a bit to get a brew I really enjoyed. But it was well worth the effort! This is a pretty solid choice for me when I can find it.

This was the first Chai concentrate that I tried. It is a pretty solid concentrate but I prefer more spice in my chai than what this product offers. It is a pretty mellow blend with lots of honey flavor.

drank Organic Chai by Tazo

Out of all the chai concentrates, I find this one to be my favorite. It’s not too spicy or too mellow. Whenever I have the craving for good, fast, easy chai this is exactly what I grab for. Using this product makes it easy to adjust the flavor to your own liking. This product is simply a must for me during the winter!

Thanks to The Republic of Tea for sending this to me as a sample with their catalog! I think this tea really reminds me of a raspberry tea I used to drink. It’s very sweet and I bet it would be very nice iced. I was actually very shocked to see how pink this brew was. It makes me wonder if it’s a natural thing dealing with the added hibiscus or pomegranate juice. Either way, not a bad tea!

drank Vanilla Apricot White by Tazo

I was pretty excited to try this tea as I haven’t had a lot of chances to try white teas. But the outcome of this was severely disappointing. No matter the steep time or temperature used, this brew always ended up bitter. Adding honey or sugar did not help much and didn’t blend well with the flavor of the tea. I really wish I had something nice to say about this tea but it has to be the most disappointing tea I’ve bought.

I JUST HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. and now im sad =(

Yup! It’s a pretty sad tea. I actually have no idea what happened to it because it isn’t in my cupboard anymore and I don’t know where it went…

This was my first purchase from Adagio teas and one of my first experiences with honeybush and rooibos teas. I have to say, this tea really pulls off the “creamy” part of the namesake. I really enjoyed this tea for its natural sweetness. I’m looking forward to finishing this tea!

drank Spiced Apple Chai by Adagio Teas

As a person who loves their wassil strong, this was a great tea! I have always enjoyed spicy teas and this one is not a let down. It smells strongly of apple and reminds me of autumn. Brewed, this was just great. I normally drink my chai with milk but this didn’t need any.
