771 Tasting Notes
There is just something about this tea that is not sitting right with me. I generally like green tea. I LOVE coconut in tea. But this particular coconut tea is just not doing it for me. I think it’s whatever green they are using. It didn’t make me sick to my stomach (yay!) but it tingled along my tastebuds as almost a weird flavour I can’t put my finger on. Into the free tea stash at work it goes.
I could have sworn I’ve reviewed this before, which makes no sense that it’s not even in the database. Has there been a purge or something with entries disappearing?
This is tasty, though I oversteeped it. The tea extract that makes it extra caffeine-y makes it taste weird when oversteeped. Otherwise, despite the hibiscus, I liked this enough from my sipsby box from forever ago that I bought some.
Just opened my bag of this from…years ago. I don’t know how many. More than one. Tastes delicious, definite cocoa note as indicated in the name. Very nice black tea to get through my morning with. 2 steep so far in my giant Deadpool mug and I think I’ll probably go for a third, though maybe with a little less water. Then decide what I want to drink next.
New medication causes weight gain and is making me super hungry so I’m triyng to placate with tea.
This tea is okay but not spectacular. It needed a fair amount of sugar to make the flavour pop for me, which isn’t ideal since I’m on a diet. It was tasty enough, fruity and such, but not fantastic.
It probably didn’t help with the concurrent anxiety attack I experienced this morning but it’s a tasty snack afterward.
My sister got me a Tea Forte sampler box for Christmas and this is the first tea out of it I’ve tried so far.
This tea is just okay. Possibly I was spoiled with my good black tea over the holiday but this one is just not as good and is making me wish I was drinking something else. There’s something almost grapey to it that I don’t like. I’m not a fan of Darjeelings after all. I will not be resteeping it.
I think I must have had this tea 20 times when I was on vacation last week. I brought the container with me and I was the only one drinking it (everyone else wanted to use the easier bagged tea, more for me!). This is still amazingly good for an Adagio tea, especially considering it’s a couple of years old at this point. I had the last of it this morning and I’ll miss it.
