Discovered this place on a recent visit to OKC. Small place, and I could only stop in for a short while. They serve by the cup to-go or in pots, as well as sell a nice variety of loose leaf. Pastries were available as well. There was a selection of teaware for sale.

I purchased a new ForLife mug with infuser and 3 loose teas to take home with me, as well as a cup of prepared tea. My husband got a chai latte, which he enjoyed, I got Spicy Chocolate Truffle latte. I don’t remember what my mother-in-law got, but she isn’t a tea person, so she wasn’t impressed. :) The lattes were quite good.

The quality of the loose leaf versus the price I paid was a little inverse, but it’s decent tea, and I suppose they have a bit of an overhead with a physical space.

I would like to return on my next trip when I can take my time and sit down with a teapot instead of being rushed.

Bio

When I was a very young child, I swallowed an ice cube whole. It got stuck in my throat, and my mother had me drink hot tea to melt it away. That started a love affair with tea that has never abated.

I dabbled with Celestial Seasonings and other grocery store teabags for awhile, in my young and foolish days. But a few years ago, I received a tea of the month subscription from Adagio, and I found that there was a whole other world of tea out there that I had never experienced.

I love drinking tea, and I love the personal ceremony of making a glass or pot of tea for myself. It’s like a meditation.
