I very much enjoy the warm spices here, very reminiscent of fall. Cinnamon, apple, coconut, ginger, and pepper are all team players that work well together in this blend. It’s about to be April but I’m already looking forward to the crisp autumn air. Dreaming of moving somewhere with perpetually fall-like weather.

TTB Review #56: If you’ve been following my TTB reviews, you’ll know that I’ve had a very volatile experience with “honey” teas. Fortunately, this one seems to have done it right. Definitely getting floral notes, but less orchid and more jasmine, maybe even a little rose. I appreciate this tea for restoring my faith in honey.

TTB Review #55: Well, I was certainly very skeptical upon seeing “wet rocks” listed among the flavors. Smelling it…why, yes, it does remind me of wet rocks! Wet leaves is another apt description. Tree bark, mud, musky grass. The taste isn’t as harsh – woody, nutty, and with just a hint of wet rocks. Despite wondering if I’m drinking puddle water, I kind of like it!

TTB Review #54: I would have thought this to be an oolong rather than a black tea. Floral notes, reminiscent of honey and nectar. I would have preferred more depth of flavor.

TTB Review #53: Very mild, so much so that I’m not getting any distinct flavors coming through. Largely unremarkable.

TTB Review #52: Simple yet enjoyable. There is a cacophony of flavors, individually subtle, but together present and pleasant. Tastes more like a green tea than an oolong. Better cold than hot. Feels sophisticated and mature.

TTB Review #51: Unremarkable. Slightly off-putting due to some muted, subtle notes of that burnt-popcorn-buttery taste I so despise. Could be just my palate playing tricks, but I didn’t care for this tea at all.

TTB Review #50: While the rosettes are quite interesting visually, the flavor is bitter and lackluster. Something between dirt, wood, and smoke, but with none of the pleasant qualities. Shame, the presentation is on point, but taste-wise it missed the mark for me.

TTB Review #49: I typically love coconut in all things, but I’m starting to think I’m not a fan of it in my tea. This one was actually more palatable than some others I’ve had, but something about it just doesn’t work for me. There’s nothing particularly unpleasant about this tea, I just feel…bleh about it.
