drank Rooibos Vanilla by Adagio Teas

I’ve once heard a Rooibos been described as NyQuil and I agree to a certain extent. It does have a certain menthol quality. The Rooibos Vanilla by Adagio, despite this “interesting” quality, is actually pretty enjoyable. I hardly ever add sweeteners to my teas, but I’ve found that this Rooibos with a small dash of honey really improves the flavor and provides a nice cup of tea. Not the best thing I’ve ever drank, but I’m glad I tried it.

drank Jade Oolong by Adagio Teas

I prepare this multiple times (gonfu style) with many short steepings. Each cup is very sweet, it has a flowery sweetness almost like honey. I’ve also prepared it with the recommended time on the package, but multiple short steeps is really the way to go. The tea takes on a whole new flavor that is much more enjoyable. This oolong is probably one of my favorites from Adagio.

I took a small break from tea drinking during the summer, I’m not a huge fan of ice teas and it was generally too hot outside for standard preparation. I’m back now and working through my collection again. Most of the tea I have right now is about a year old and from Adagio… But I’m slowly adding some new, higher quality teas. With that said, even the old Adagio stuff I’m really enjoying.
