I don’t really taste any vanilla or coconut in my tea. Kinda tastes like a mild herbal tea to me. Not bad, but realy not much flavor.

drank Vanilla Mint by Golden Moon Tea

Got this yesterday, but i had to go to work. So I had to wait until today to try it. Smells amazing! Really minty with a vanilla sweetness to it.
The tea is not as strong as i thought. Has a nice minty smell to it, with a vanilla creamy aftertaste. I really like this tea though. Will be sure to try it iced.

Added some milk to it this time. I needed something calming after having to sprint through a lightning storm, and tornado warnings, (note to any amusement park owners, if there is a tornado warning in your area you really should close up early to avoid this).
……
ANYWAY tastes smooth and creamy. Ended up adding a dash of honey and nutmeg, to sweeten it up a bit.
Now to calm down and relax.

Glad the tea was soothing…we have had some crazy tornadoes here too (CT). Thanks for the review.

Smelled great as I was steeping it. Taste is kinda bland to me. I was expecting it to taste more like cherries. The cherry taste is really an aftertaste. As the tea cools the cherry taste is more prevelanet. Perhaps would be best cold?
Ok after cooling this just tastes like bitter leaves. Yuck!

drank Honeybush Vanilla by Teavana

Smelled delishcious. Needed something soothing for my throat after a long weekend with a wedding, so I added some honey to it. Smells nice and vanilly. For some reason I decidede to have it cold, rather than hot. Not bad, but probably definatly better hot.

drank Kuki Matcha by Teavana

So far I havn’t had much from non flavored green teas, but figure i’ll try again. This time i actually payed attention to the steeping instructions.
Not bad, doesn’t taste bitter like previous times i’ve had this tea, probably because i steeped it way less than I had previously.
To me I doesn’t have alot of taste, but maybe that’s how green tea is supposed to taste? It smells very good and has a cozy feel to it, but pretty much tastes like hot water to me with a little tea aftertaste.

If you’re steeping and decanting this, it really can’t be compared to regular matcha. As far as other greens, all greens (especially Japanes greens) are not created equal and can be vastly different depending on you prepare them. Here’s a great resource (Den’s, w/ the sampler) on how to prepare greens:

Too get a more favorable (and stronger) flavor you may want to tweek the steeping parameters a bit, especially the tea:water ratio. 2g (1 heaping tsp) of leaves steeped in 3oz of 180F purified water for 1 min may work better for you. I hope it does!

A good iced tea. I love the color! Tastes sweet and slightly sour just like raspberries. I think the taste could be stronger though, but overall a decent tea.

Smells amazing. Accidently Steeped this too long. At first I didn’t really taste the peach, but now that i’ve thrown a couple of ice cubes in my cup, I get a better taste of peach. I definately think this teas is better iced.

I always love this tea for late night studying. The spicyness is great for keeping me up and alert. I’ve never tried it with milk, I usually just put some honey in it. But will be sure to try it later.

This is definitely nice with milk – you might like to brew it a little more concentrated than usual if you plan to add more than few drops of milk.

Cofftea

If you’re looking for alertness inducing spice- I’d like to direct you to 52teas Mayan Chocolate Chai- you’ve gotta like both spice and chocolate though. I agree w/ Veg Tea’s parameter adjustment when making chai (although I’ve never tried it w/ this). I add a min. to my steeping time rather than adding more leaf though.

Hello,
I’m a college graduate, who got into tea during late night studies (late nights without liking coffee otherwise sucks). I’m currently taking a year off in Montana as an Americorps, and hoping to go to medical school (lots more late tea nights for me).
Any tips or suggestions to try are greatly appreciated.
