Classic. It’ll only make you sleepy if you chase a Xanax down with it. However, it does help to relax the innards if you have cramps or a digestive embarrassment. I think it also helps ease sore throats. Like Caitlan said — a great companion to sweet treats.

Best chamomile ever. You need hardly any sweetener with it. I’m really annoyed that my local grocery stores no longer carry it.

One of Tazo’s best and I’m not overly fond of green tea in general. Highly recommended for the afternoon and when trying to ease cramps. My Mom likes it both hot and iced.

Kick-ass tea, especailly for winter or those days you have to get up at 3am for some nefarious reason. Just be sure only to have one or two cups a day or you’ll have to be pried off of the ceiling.

Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy…even after brewing for five minutes. A real disappointment from such a good brand likeTwining’s.

Jillian

Well it is supposed to be a lighter version of Earl Grey.

Rena Sherwood

It’s light almost to the point of transparency ;-)

Not as robust as Murchie’s English Breakfast tea, but better than most American brands. Keep an eye out for the expiration date. Needs only a little milk or cream. Because Muchie’s now only has one official shop, some grocery and beverage suppliers seem to be clearing their warehouses.

drank Original Blend by Red Rose

I used to livein England for five years. When I returned to America, loosing my favourite tea brands was disappointing. But Red Rose was the closest I found of an easily available cheap and cheerful tea.

Try drinking a cup of mint tea and then making a Red Rose as the next cuppa in the same mug. Gives the Red Rose a nice hint of mint, but not enough to overpower the flavour.

Jillian

I could be wrong on this but I think the current owner of the Red Rose is the same company that makes PG Tips. Red Rose actually started out as Canadian company (and a very sucessful one) waaay back when, which makes me ridiculously proud for some reason. XD

Lived in Pennsylvania until I was 29, ran away to live in the woods in England for five and a half years, then returned to America. Used to have a late lamented webpage about Peter Gabriel, guinea pigs and model horses called “In rraven’s Eyes”. Here’s a quick tip—remember to not leave your computer with your ex when you leave for another country. Would like to be a white horse when I grow up. But, until then, I am a freelance writer.
