Think I drank this too soon after the Kapha Aryuvedic. The licorice ganged up and attacked the back of my throat. Bleh. Still, after taking a little break and then after a resteep, it helped balance out my ongoing migraine.

Tasty little feel-good tea. On my never-ending quest for a good headache tea, this one isn’t as powerful as the North African Mint but it would be great when I can’t wake up in the morning. First taste you get the spices, especially the clove and a touch of the cinnamon and peppermint. The aftertaste is light and sweet, the licorice coming out. Definitely doesn’t need sugar or any additions.

This is the tea that made me realise that I like tea. The first and always the best. When my head was pounding and I barely knew my own name, this is the tea that I summoned up from my brain when my wife asked if I wanted a cuppa. The Earl Grey is earthy and rich, with the vanilla adding just that touch of sweetness that keeps it from being bitter. In fact, I think I am going for another resteep. I drink it black, steep for about three minutes.

It was recommended to me as another possible migraine aide when I dropped in to our local today. Got three steeps out of the bag, and it definitely got me through work. Helped with my upset stomach too.

Trying out different mint-based teas to see what will help with my migraines. Even if it doesn’t, this is definitely one of my favourites. Light and minty, refreshing and tasty.

Mmmm. Tea. I have become a believer.

I like oolongs and greens, and dark smoky flavours. And Earl Greys. All the Earl Greys. I have bent my nerd powers to learning as much as I can about tea and tea culture. I have started to ramble about tea.

Tea. Mmmm.
