299 Tasting Notes
Half milk & half water today, idk, I had it with just hot water last time and I can’t decide which I liked better (although I kept smelling/tasting nori without the milk :P) but …yum! I’m not awake enough to rate things. I like not having to worry about steeping with matcha. MORNING ADVANTAGES.

I’m out of practise with timing steeps so I wandered off and did other things until I remembered I had this tea on. K liked it, too. It’s not as peppery as it could be but it is definitely yum.

LOL, I should have read reviews before buying this but I lucked out because I like it. Not an EG at allllll. It’s very lapsangy and smells SO GOOD and cedary like a sauna. Mmmmmm.
It’s also full of junk?? I opened the bag and was like HUH. They put the wrong tea in & mis-labeled? There are shiny silver balls and sprinkles and chocolate chips and flowery bits and and and???? Not very Professory, I have to say. But it smelled lapsangy, so I thought: STILL A MORNING TEA! :D?
And it is very good. The DT lapsang I have kinda hurts my tum a bit? I have to reeeeally be in the mood. But this one is gentler so I can see having it more often.
But it is NOT an EG. Bergamot is AWOL.

If Lime Kool-aid were a tea, it’d be this tea. Yeah, Lime Chiffon is BETTER…. but this one has CAFFEINE. :D? I have a feeling this would make a great iced tea, too. Also, I was distracted on Ravelry and forgot this steeping & no harm done ;) ;) that’s always a plus, for me.

I haven’t really liked this tea overall and have had it many times without rating it because I always think it should be amazing and then it’s not as coconut-fruity as I expect. I dunno what I did right today, but I really enjoyed my cup! Maybe it’s just a good day for DTT? A package from them was waiting in my mailbox, too!)

I was saving the rest for iced tea to try it out that way, I was so meh about that tea, but now…? I dunno man! Sometimes there’s a magic, I think. :P
Totally! I’ve been having some tea blahs lately and now I’m afraid to rate things because normally I enjoy them more. Gonna go back to basic good teas before messing around with the fancy ones I’ve been trying.
