737 Tasting Notes
Definitely one of my new favorites. Didn’t know what to think when I first tasted this. I haven’t tasted a non-flavored black tea before. I didn’t have much time to think of how it tasted because a really intense wave of nausea/pain came upon me. But I’ll definitely have to buy more of this since it’s so good! And then I can write a proper tasting note (: Thanks, Virginia , for the sample. Turns out you threw a few Tealux teas in :P But hey, I ain’t complaining-you’re broadening my tea horizons xD
This wasn’t like other strawberry teas I’ve tried. Often the strawberry flavor is too much, but this tea tastes creamier. It’s kinda nice actually. If you’re a big strawberry fan, this is the tea to buy! Too many other strawberry teas are overwhelming, but this one is just right (:
I expected this to be a whole lot nuttier than it actually was. Tastes salty, and yet there’s some kind of raisin-ish flavor going on. With just a pinch of cinnamon. Definitely interesting and not what I expected. But it isn’t horrible. xD Just interesting.
I don’t think I’ve ever tried Earl Grey, always figured it was up there with the classic teas that you add milk to, which I am not a fan of. So I never bothered trying it. I’m glad I did though, because I realize it’s not all that terrible!
I can’t really compare it to any other kind of Earl Grey, but it was alright. Not my favorite, but not terrible either! It just makes me feel like Capt. Picard. xD Makes me wanna watch The Next Generation of Star Trek xD
After 4 hours of sleep it was nice to brew up a few cups of this tea. It smells so strong…I can’t really place how it tastes.
They definitely got the name right. It is pretty fragrant. Kinda ends up tasting fragrant too, now to think of it. xD
I would never have thought to buy this but they threw it in my order…it’s kinda expensive tea, but now I have to buy more since it’s so good.
And it’s helping me wake up-so it’s the perfect tea for today ^^
I drank this oolong several months ago and remember how spectacular it was to look at, I even took pictures of it. A great tea!
I wouldn’t have thought to buy this tea on my own, but after tasting the sample that Virginia, so generously gave me, I am gonna have to buy some more!
The aroma is so strong, it made my entire room smell like chocolate which is awesome-who wouldn’t want their room to smell like chocolate?!
And the taste…holy Shanghai, you guys!
It literally tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream! Which is my favorite kind of ice cream! What’s even better is that tea won’t be as likely to give me terrible heartburn as ice cream will-so clearly, this tea is a winner!
I’m so ridiculously excited right now. ^^ Totally gonna buy more. Thanks, Virginia! :D
The aroma of this tea is light, not too strong. Even when I took the first sip the flavor didn’t really “pop” out at me. But a few sips in I could definitely taste the salted caramel. Which was spot on-just didn’t come on as strong as other flavors do.
But it was good. ^^ Actually I think that my mum, who doesn’t really like tea, would like it. She loves salted caramel. I’ll have to get her to try it! XD
This tea smelled pretty cake-y. But when I went to actually drink it it tasted kinda like Tealux’s Cream Irish Breakfast tea. It’s kinda battery I suppose. Not at all what I expected. I’ve tried other company’s red velvet teas, and they’re usually really chocolatey or sweet. But this just tastes kinda batter-y? Well it’s not terrible. It’s just…interesting. XD Probably won’t buy anymore of it-but was nice to try!
So it says on Steepster that this is a green tea…and yet, I freakin’ love this tea xD It tastes exactly how it smells-like caramel-y, buttery popcorn. It’s just a mix of all that. Kinda tastes a bit salty too. Exactly what you’d wanna drink while watching a movie! One day I’ll have to eat popcorn and drink this tea…bet it will be amazing. I’m really excited to try that now xD
Definitely buying more of this! :D
Not sure if I steeped enough tea…but it has a very delicate, caramel-y taste to it. It doesn’t have tons of flavor-at least this steep doesn’t. Perhaps I’ll just have to steep more next time. Maybe I’ll try mixing it with something, or simply, steep more next time.xD I’ll figure it out soon-thank you for this sample, Virginia! :D
Flavors: Caramel, Cream
I love this assam, and this is one of my favourite straight tea supplier ;-)
(Hope it made you feel better…)
