Yeah…this one just tasted like wood to me. XD Kept trying to drink more of it in case there would be another flavor, but there just wasn’t for me. So I gave up.

Since the first two teas I tried from the package Cookie sent me were too buttery for me, I was kinda nervous about this one.
But much to my surprise, it was actually really great!
I have only tried two other Four Season oolongs before, one of which was roasted. The other was okay, but the flavor wasn’t strong enough for me. :(
Even after those two I still have been eager to try more Four Season Oolongs. And Cookies was generous enough to send me some! :D
The main flavor is floral, and there are very very subtle hints of butter and honeysuckle in the background. More of the honeysuckle than butter though. Which is good! It adds a certain sweetness with the floral, and they both make a lovely combo.
This tea is seriously so much better than I thought!
I steeped it for a bit less than 2 minutes because my kettle ran out of water and the big mug was only like 3/4ths full. I didn’t wanna risk oversteeping it if it was going to be buttery like the other two!
But it was just really really good.
This is definitely the best Four Season Oolong I’ve had so far! :D Makes me excited to try more. This is totally a tea that I’d consider picking up too. :D

Went into this one expecting there to be honey notes mainly. But it ended up having more nutty and buttery notes. The nutty notes made it more drinkable, but still really wasn’t my thing :S
Oh well. I probably would have bought this one otherwise, so I’m glad that Cookies was generous enough to send me a sample! Thanks again! (:

Got a sample of this tea from the package Cookies sent me! I think this is the right tea on here, but took me a bit to find it for some reason. xD
Anyway, she sent me a bunch of oolongs, which was awesome because I love oolongs! I seriously will try any oolong, unless I know for a fact it’s only going to be roasty xD
Anyway, this one was smooth and thick. The main flavor was butter, which really is not my thing. There was a touch of floral in the background but not enough of it to balance out the salty butter taste. For the sake of my stomach I decided not to finish the cup. Don’t do so well with buttery teas. :S
But glad to have tried it. Thank you for the sample, Cookies!!

Ahhh FINALLY figured out how to make this exactly like it is in the store!!!!!!! :D :D :D
Took me long enough. :P
Just add a wee bit over a tsp, steep it for 4-5 minutes, and add a couple drops of agave. And it’s perfect. Sweet and floral just like in the store!
Such a good tea…Man…Those 4oz is going to be done soon.
Definitely another staple in my collection! Really wasn’t expecting to like many of Teavana’s blends…but feels like in spring they come out with better blends than in the winter. Heh, I am not complaining!

Had this the other day. Wasn’t entirely sure that I’d still like it since my taste buds have changed so much.
But it’s just as good as I remembered! It’s super sweet like DavidsTea’s Birthday Cake, but it also has a creamy battery note in it that just completes it.
The DavidsTea one has kinda been tasting off lately, like just pure sugar which I usually like…but I don’t know…just is a bit too much for me :S
Oh well.

This one is pretty earthy. Kinda too earthy for me, to be honest :(
Earth isn’t the main flavor though, the main flavor is like fruity. Mainly getting plum notes, which was rather unexpected!
Just the combo of earth and plums is not my thing! D:

Got a sample of this one from the lovely Albertocanfly in her last package. I kinda had high expectations for this one, to be honest. Coconut and mint sounds like a really good combo. But this company didn’t really pull it off too well, sadly. :(
At first all I could really taste was the coconut, so that was kinda disappointing.
As it cooled I started tasting the mint…Kept thinking it was peppermint. But on here it says it’s spearmint apparently?
The coconut flavor kinda got replaced by the mint flavor when it cooled…which was even more disappointing because the coconut was barely in the background and it really wasn’t mixing. I think that if both flavors had been mixed better then it would be a great tea but it’s like you could only taste one flavor at once. Was really disappointing :( Thanks for letting me try this anyway, Albertocanfly!

Soo at first I wasn’t so fond of this one. I started drinking it when it was still hot, and it mainly just tasted like wood, with a small hint of sweet potato in the background.
But as it cooled I started drinking it again, and the flavor changed.
A lot of the wood flavor was replaced by a sweet potato flavor. Was kinda weird. xD There was still that woody flavor present, but not like before!
This one ain’t bad when you drink it nearly lukewarm. xD
Probably wouldn’t buy this one, but soo glad I got to try it.

Had been wanting to try this one for a while, now that I’ve tried it I can’t remember quite why I wanted it so badly. It’s definitely one of the weirdest teas I’ve ever tried! I really don’t know what to think. 0_0
It’s pine-y, kinda peppery, ever so slightly minty, and has some weird other spices going on that I can’t pick out. It’s seriously so weird. Might be the weirdest one yet!
It’s not a horrible weird, but it’s not an amazing weird either. I feel like it’s the kind of weird that my taste buds will just like start craving randomly sometime for no apparently reason. It’s a weird combo of flavors. But part of it kinda reminds me of a certain food. What food is that, you might ask? I don’t know. xD But it really does remind me of something.
So yeah, not my kind of tea really. But thank you soo much for letting me try it, Rosehips!! :D :D
