I love this when I’m feeling under the weather. In fact, I just made up a mug and am waiting for it to cool to drinkable temperatures!

It’s spicy, sweet and gingery. The citrus in it isn’t enough to hurt my sore throat, and the honey and ginger are immensely soothing. So much easier than making my own hot honey-and-lemon drink. I have repurchased this tea mix again and again.

One thing I really like is that the rooibos isn’t like a normal “instant” tea – rather, it’s leaves that have been ground down to a powder, even though this means that if you stir up your mug the texture can be a little gritty.

In my neck of the woods, this tea is available at Caffe Divano. They recommend it as a tea latte with a bunch of vanilla syrup in it, which is good, but too sweet for me. I’ve started ordering it as a large, with one pump of vanilla and room for milk. The coconut, vanilla and chocolate are all good flavours. It’s easy to see why it’s their most popular tea!

I purchased a 2-oz container from Caffe Divano, and have made it at home a few times. I really do like it, and it’s a good afternoon tea as there is less caffeine in it.

This is my one exception (so far) to my no mint policy. It is extremely strong, and tastes of sweet cinnamon and peppermint. There are other flavours, but they tend to become overpowered the way I drink this tea. I brew it in a thermos (just leave the tea bag in there for hours) when I go hiking or snowshoeing, as it’s a perfect pick-me-up after being out in the cold for a couple hours. Yum!

This tea smells amazing dry, but didn’t live up to my (admittedly high) expectations when brewed. I’ve been looking for a strawberry black tea with as much flavour as David’s Tea’s Blueberry Jam. Sadly, this was not it.

I did enjoy the tea for what it was – a nutty black tea with a lot of sweet caramel flavours form the brittle, and a little strawberry on the side. Just not what I was looking for, and I probably won’t repurchase it.

I purchased this to make iced tea over the summer, as a friend is allergic to raspberries and I really like some of the other Celestial Seasonings fruit teas. I’m just finishing the last bag hot, and although the tea does taste and smell of blueberries, the flavour seems somewhat flat. I tried it with and without sweetener, both hot and cold. While honey improves the flavour, I think I need a lot more honey in it to make it tasty. I will be sticking with other raspberry-free teas during the summer, and won’t be repurchasing this one.

(With these teas, I like to keep the tea bag in the water until I’ve finished the tea. I started sipping about 4 minutes in, and although the other flavours and tartness are starting to come out I’m still not loving it.)

Meh. I purchased it to ice over the summer. I’m not a fan of the flavour either cold-brewed or hot-brewed. There is more lemongrass and hibiscus flavour than there is orange.

I won’t be repurchasing… in fact, I won’t even be finishing the box. I have too many other good teas to drink!

Very similar to their Royal Abkhazi. This one is a lot stronger and holds up to added milk and sweetener quite well.

A vanilla flavoured earl grey. The flavours are delicate enough that it’s delicious without sweetener, just a touch of unsweetened milk substitute

drank La La Lemon (Organic) by DAVIDsTEA

If you’re not careful, this tea turns extremely bitter. My preference is a 1 minute steep, and I like to put in tonnes of leaves and then pour it over ice for a delicious iced tea. Honey or sugar is a nice addition if you like your tea sweet.

Definitely tastes more of lemon oil, or zest, rather than juice.

Tastes like blueberry jam, and is lovely with a little honey or sugar to offset the weird taste of stevia. I love it as a tea latte – the blueberry goes so well with the creaminess milk (or substitute) adds.
