38 Tasting Notes
This tea has somewhat changed from the 2012 stock, but it’s still fantastic! Tart with a clean citrus “bite”, mostly from the verbena and pineapple. There is a distinctive earthy, almost woodlike taste to this tea, which I love. The newer version is not as sweet and floral as last year. There is an obvious difference between the two but it’s still great!
Iced this tea is the bees knees! I can’t get enough of that, rich, thick, sticky peach nectar quality when it’s steeped for a good hour or more! I’ve mixed this with a great quality black tea such as Golden Monkey and its just like a Peach Snapple (without all those crazy sugars and additives!)
So far one of my favourite teas!

This tea steeped smelled of spinach croissants! Bright orchid, jasmine notes and a crisp vegetal note. A memory of milk oolong comes out for me here with that buttery pastry quality. On the second steep the vegetal qualities were a bit more harsh and the floral notes were passing.

Quite acidic and tart. This tea tastes just like hot berry compote on pancakes! overall a nice berry flavour, but I think the hibiscus gives it too much tartness for my liking, and it overpowers that great Mao Feng!
Iced this tea reminds me of a refreshing berry water in the late summer.

Bright and light melon flavour with an herbal/menthol undertone and a hint of lime zest. Reminds me of watermelon Hubba Bubba bubble gum when I was a kid, in the best way! This tea is wonderful iced! Beautiful and refreshing, a perfect blend that I would be happy drinking all day long in the summer heat!

A sharp, clear berry scent. This tea seemed a bit too busy for my liking. Too many flavours competing for the spotlight made this tea confusing to the palate. A bright, acidic berry taste and chocolaty backnotes with a lingering dark green vegetable note. This tea was much better sweetened, cutting out the sharpness of the acidic berries.

With a vegetal and, believe it or not, white chocolate scent, this tea surely pleased the palate. A very nice a bright grassiness with a slight umami quality. Just a bit bitter on the ending notes near the back of the throat. A classic, great quality green tea!

First sip is a punch of that itchy piney taste I’m not fond of with rooibos. A slight fruitiness to it with clear citrus and lemon after notes. I can’t get any pomegranate out of it, but there is a whisper of cherry. Overall, this is a perfect “I’m sick and this helps” tea reminiscent of neocitrin. I would only drink it then.
