103 Tasting Notes
Wow!!! If this is what flavoured teas can taste like, I am SOLD! With the last few Butiki teas I have had, I don’t think I can say I prefer mostly straight teas anymore:) I definitely have found a few that I would like to add to my cupboard.
Anyways this is an amazingly maple pecan flavoured tea. It has just the right amount of sweetness for me so I didn’t add any sugar and I love pecans. Very well balanced flavours!
Mmmm not bad! I have been on the hunt for teas that have no caffeine in them to drink. I brewed according to instructions on my sample bag of this tea which I got with my order. Nicely balanced mint and chocolate flavour. I didn’t add any sugar because I am looking for teas that I can drink without added sugar. This just might make it on my next order!
Wow amazing! I love the pistachio smell and flavour. I brewed according to the directions and don’t find any bitterness with the green base at all, just a perfect balance of the pistachio then I taste the base and then am left with a buttery creaminess.
ETA: made more of this for the boys and hubby to try and they loved it. This was the favourite over cantaloupe and cream, so I too am bumping the rating up a bit:)
Alright even though white tea has some caffeine in it, I figured it has the least of all the new teas I got and I couldn’t wait to try something :)
So delicious!!! No wonder why everyone raves about it!
Amazing cantaloupe smell and taste which is not overpowering with just the right amount of creaminess! A really nice flavoured white tea mix. What else can I say? Everyone else has said it already…and I better get dinner made!
Oh and I brewed it according to the instructions approx 180F water for 3 1/2 mins.
I’ve had a few cups of this tea now. When I used the suggested water temp my tea got a bit bitter. This time I forgot about the kettle and brewed the tea after the water had cooled down for at least 5 or so minutes the tea tasted like cookie dough. The smell is amazing it actually does smell like cookie dough. It’s a nice flavoured white tea!
Mmm I do like my wuyi rock tea! This is no different, roasted slightly smokey oolong. I only got two infusions out of this cause I had it at work…might try a third for the fun of it now and see if there is anything left. I am hoping to do a side by side comparisons of my wuyi rock teas one day soon, but until then I do enjoy this tea.
ETA: third steep it’s still going strong! Taste: more floral less toasty.
Wow smells like honeydew. I am not a big mate fan so this is a great introduction. The tea once steeped tastes melonly and the mate isn’t overly strong…so not bad. Plus I am hoping the energy that one is supposed to get from mate will kick in…I am feeling a little sluggish this morning.
Spicy chai with no caffeine! Nice!!
It smells cinnamony and spicy when brewed. I taste the cinnamon and ginger and Rooibos but not the coconut so much. All in all a flavourful cup of tea. I am drinking this straight…with what I have left I will have to try it with almond milk.
