103 Tasting Notes
Ok had this in my Libre travel glass at work yesterday. I have been searching for teas that I can just throw the leaves in my mug fill with hot water and forget about until my next break which is usually a few hours later. I have found if I underleaf some oolongs and Rooibos teas I am able to still enjoy them hours later. This one is one of them, no bitterness at all detected :)
Mmmm had this last night so good :)
I tried a second steeping to make this lovely tea last and I must of left it brewing too long and got a slight bitterness to the second steeping :( …oh well I drank it anyways! I wasn’t very careful with timing because I don’t usually expect to get good second steepings from flavoured teas. I should be more careful and maybe my tea will last longer!
Mmmm orange and chocolate (and marshmallow). I can’t really pick out the marshmallow flavour…but that’s ok I was more interested in the chocolate orange flavour anyways. I have tried this with and without added almond milk and I like it both ways. Really nice flavoured black tea :)
Finally tried this lovely sample I got in my order…thanks Stacy!
It amazingly smells of melon and the taste is a generic melon taste (as opposed to watermelon) to me too, but that definitely could be due to me not adding sugar. The only reason I don’t add sugar is because I want to cut down on my sugar consumption. I also accidentally oversteeped it so it may have affected the taste of the tea:( I am finding that I like more nutty flavours right now so since I have cantaloupe and cream I probably won’t add this to my shopping list yet.
