I can really smell the spices in the bag, but when steeped everything blends together wonderfully. Definitely not a tea to linger over, though, as the taste becomes more bitter and unbalanced as it cools.

Messy Monday morn
Stay to sip smooth, sweet succor
Gliding on the tongue

Vegital they said
without disgust. My thinking:
It was best lukewarm

Nothing fancy here
I smell the earthy leaves steeped
A tea for dreaming

Lemon zing, mint fresh
Warmness slipping down my throat
This “tea”, a comfort

Pepper on the tongue
Is it chai without milk or sugar?

This tea makes me feel like a caramel dragon!
It smells a bit caramel-y, but I mostly experience it as an aftertaste—especially in my breath. Maybe I’m just not experienced enough to distinguish “caramel” taste from “sweet” though because this is a sweet black tea. Strong, but not bitter.
I enjoy this cup less because of taste and more because it’s fun to be a dragon.

I’m laying in bed determined to have one last cup of tea for the evening. It’s sweet, it’s mild, it’s smooth. It doesn’t get me excited, but then, it’s not supposed to.
