58 Tasting Notes
Great flavor! Grenada has a smooth taste and a very light black tea flavor. For those who enjoy milder blacks, this is a great tea to get. The tropical fruit additions give it an interesting flavor that I found to be enjoyable. I think drinking it iced is the way to go!
Preparation
I drank this iced, it was pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of tart, citrus flavors which this features quite strongly. The rooibos base was full-bodied and well balanced. If you like the base natural flavor of rooibos, this is a great tea for you. The fruit flavoring does not at all overpower the rooibos flavor.
Preparation
Momo again wasn’t a particular favorite. Probably because I had just eaten a peach before actually drinking the tea. The peach flavor wasn’t as genuine as I would have liked, nor was it as strong. The black tea flavor comes through to the forefront, leaving a bit of a bitter aftertaste and some astringency. For those who like mild fruity flavored blacks, this is the way to go.
Preparation
Strawberry was awesome, no complaints. The flavor of strawberries was a bit strong, which I’m totally ok with. This is the first berry tea that I’ve had that I REALLY like. The sweetness of the strawberry flavor balanced nicely with its black tea base. A sip of this would leave you with an undeniably sweet flavor as the after taste, something I don’t mind at all. It brews a nice golden brown, telling of the black tea that gives it it’s body.
Preparation
Given that it is summer, I absolutely had to have this iced. Jardin Sauvage was a great tea. I enjoyed the mild rooibos flavor which sat delicately behind the bolder fruity flavors the tea had to offer. The flavor is tropical, with mangoes and various citrus notes. I would recommend drinking it iced and I hardly think it needs sweetener.
Preparation
Yeah, this was the first Lupicia tea I tried. I was just in SF and picked up their sampler box, if the rest of the teas are the same blend quality as this one I will be absolutely thrilled.
My first trip to David’s Tea, I ordered the Jungle Ju Ju iced. I grew up drinking traditional hot mate and i’ve been wanting to try different flavors of it for a while. I have to say I wasn’t entirely impressed. I feel like the fruit didn’t shine through enough, it tasted a bit minty and lost traditional mate flavor. After ordering Jungle Ju Ju, I still prefer my traditional mate, gourd, and bombilla.
Preparation
I ordered a cup of this while I was at the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market in San Francisco. This tea was a wonderful green, I have nothing bad to say about it. It was flavorful and aromatic, giving way to that familiar vegetal scent and taste that green tea drinkers adore. It brewed a beautiful golden color, i’m not entirely sure what exactly is in the bag, but there was definitely a sencha flavor with it. Very smooth, very enjoyable, and highly recommended.
will you give the same review on our website that is www.imperialtea.com. It will really helpful to other customers to understand tea by reading your review.
Insomniac’s dream is your typical relaxation tea. It will wind you down for the evening and prepare you for sleep. I didn’t find that it stood out from any other brands of sleep tea that I have tried and there were definitely some fun ingredients in there that I would have liked to tasted a bit more. Overall, not bad by any means but certainly not superb.
