Kicking myself for not buying a full tin of this, as it’s a winter seasonal. Really, really tasty. And it would be really good as an ice tea as well. Like gourmet fruit punch for adults. Great dessert tea and decaf so I can have it late at night. Really just makes you physically smack your lips, it’s so good. It’s on the sweet side of what I normally like so I brew it a little weaker than most herbals. Very distinct tastes within the tea.

I like this tea a lot. It’s really hard to describe it as anything other than “good tea”. Rich taste, pleasant smell, the whole deal. It’s a simple blend, so you don’t need to be a tea snob to enjoy it.

I also have this in the decaf version and it tastes almost as good.

Kind of bland. Steeped it for five minutes and it didn’t get any stronger. Not bad, but not really worth drinking, either.

Kind of my default tea because it’s what was in the cupboards growing up. It’s got a familiar flavour with a little bit of milk, a great pick-me-up afternoon tea. Plain or if steeped too long it goes a little bitter. I always have it on hand for homesickness or when I need to wake up and don’t feel like brewing coffee.

Pretty good green tea. Nice balance of the tea and the lemon. If you can’t keep a bottle of lemon juice or fresh ones around for some reason, this is a good substitute.

drank Zen by Tazo

Got a sampler pack of Tazo for Christmas and decided to try this one first. Can’t honestly say I enjoyed it; there was so much mint and overpowering lemon that there was no point to the tea being there at all. It had a really funny aftertaste I couldn’t place at first, but my mate put it down pat as “it tastes like a dentist’s gloves”. I actually checked to see if it was expired but apparently not.

Wouldn’t really recommended this to anyone who likes green tea.

drank Lady Grey by Twinings

I’m a huge fan of this tea. Never had the bags, but I’ve always got a tin of loose leaves on top of the fridge. It’s a perfect rainy day tea; the scents of orange and cornflower will pick you right up! One of the best-smelling teas.

Supposedly it’s impossible to oversteep Lady Grey. I usually try to leave it for at least three minutes to get the full flavour out. I drink it plain; it doesn’t need sugar and it’s herbal-tasting enough that milk doesn’t do it any favours.
