drank Mint & Chamomile by Hyson
1845 tasting notes

Yup, this is a blend I would never ever order myself. I got it only because it is part of Hyson Mini faves small tea boxes, usually with a variety of tea bags.

However, decided to brew it as it is already an evening here (how so?) and I wanted to try something new. Combination of only mint and chamomile is uncommon for me, but I was checking the database, it is not that uncommon at all?! Chamomile — is usually a big no for me. Bagged mint — not having great experience with them (with a few exceptions).

However to the Hyson’s tea. It turned out gold, pretty clear colour. Smells very medicinal, lightly reminding me hospital desinfections. The taste is… expected. Musty mint. Light on menthol. Chamomile sweetness and its common taste which I certainly not adore.

I am happy that I have only one tea bag left.

Bio

I am drinking almost everything. Tea bag collector who moved to wonderful world of loose leaf.

Trying to rate differently tea bags and loose leaf as tea bags have usually worse quality.

Photographer now and then. Postcrossing and geocaching member. Very curious person. Logistics student (should finish in June 2021).

Buried in tea right now. Is in my cupboard (trying to be updated) which sparkled your interest? Write me, I would gladly share with you. But I don’t want anything in return now :)
