Tried this out today after my shipment came in. I may have steeped it too long anyway. The dry leaves definitely smell like coffee and a hit of chocolate. The liquor after steeping was dark. Definitely the darkest I’ve seen from a tea. It was kinda bitter on it’s own but I added a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of milk and it tasted better. It was earthy, coffee-tasting, bitter and with the sugar, sweet. I kinda like it. I’ll have to play around with how I brew it. But I think it’s a nice tea for someone who doesn’t like coffee but doesn’t mind bitterness.
