Another I got in a deal for the tin. It’s a very light tea, and I steeped it six minutes. The taste is pleasant but very mild and I expected more from the flavour description. It is described to have some cinnamon spice, which I’m not really getting, but I do get the smooth apricot coming across. I’ll keep experimenting with the satchets. May make a good iced tea, not sure.

It’s really weird I’m liking this one so much since I typically don’t like chamomile, and not much a mint fan - but for some reason this one is very pleasant! I purchased on a sale with the tin and the high ratings of the New York Blend, glad I took the plunge. I don’t get the mint much until the end of the sip, it’s not overpowering, to me it’s almost like chamomile and apples, very soothing and warming, drinking hot. It’s a light tea but flavorful -- I think next time I’ll steep it a bit more. Wouldn’t be bad with a touch of lemon to enhance the ginger. Added one sugar cube.

I am not a hot cinnamon fan in teas apparently. I never enjoy it when its the predominant note. I got this one for the Met Tin and it was supposed to have a variety of flavors. It tastes like their cinnamon hot spice or any of their other hot cinnamon blends, for they have many. I do get a buttery, smooth apple undertaste, but the cinnamon spice gets stronger the more sips I take. Ironically I was eating an apple when I tried this tea.

I will keep the tin as a keeper as it’s adorable but unlikely to drink any more of the tea unless I’m mixing in a pot with something else for experimentation, and next time I’ll use a larger cup to dilute a little more with the satchel

I didn’t used to be an Early Grey fan at all but I’ve fallen head over heels for Victorian London Fog, and now decided to try another from the Harney line that’s always so recommended, this one. It’s actually very good! I will likely get some more of these too to sip when in the mood. Strong and flavorful. Had a satchet sample of this.

I miss A quarter to tea. Finished my last cup of this tonight to try and clear out older teas. Forgot how sweet this one was and overdid it with the sugar but oh well, was in the mood for something sweet

A few things about this tea really stand out. One is the strong smell when steeping – as I was scooping the leaves in, I got a whiff of what I think of as butter, and the smell and taste match it to me. I know it’s supposed to be caramel, but to me this is a buttery type tea, and it reminds me a little of the taste of the Butterbeer in Universal Studios in the Harry Potter theme Park section. The tea has a nice and silky texture – I’m a bit smoke fan, but not picking up on that part much. I have another cup to try and will update if the smokiness comes through more my second cup – may try steeping it a bit longer to steep.

One thing is for sure, this one is different and I like different sometimes. It’s a unique tasting tea that’s not overpowering. I can see how I couldn’t sip too many of these cups in a row due to the caramel and almost buttery profile and my sensitive stomach, but I like it for one cup at a time.

I am still brand new to Hojicha. This one was pleasant but I found the flavor profile a bit mild for my taste. The warmth roast quality comes through and makes it a relaxing, peaceful cup. I like how earthy and soothing it is, but I’m looking for a little more oomph in flavor with my weaker taste buds to be a higher rating. People should enjoy this one, however.
