Sipdown #18
I didn’t quite have enough of these cocoa shells left so I mixed them with another herbal tea. It was an interesting experiment and not one I’d necessarily repeat. Instead of just adding a cocoa note to the herbal it added a fruity chocolate type flavor that doesn’t work quite as well. I often find plain black coffee especially tastes kind of like this fruity and dark.
Flavors: Cocoa, Coffee, Fruity
Preparation
Working on Sipping this down I have close to 250g of this go go through. This is one I forget about a lot. It’s a nice malty breakfast tea. Today’s cup has just a tiny splash of oat milk in it. I should reach for this one more I just usually don’t have time to make tea in the mornings.
Flavors: Malt
Preparation
Another one of the oldest teas in my cupboard that I’m working on sipping down. Love this one it’s SO good. Lovely notes of sweet potato, malt, honey, and cocoa. I’ll miss it once it’s gone but that also means I can get a different straight black tea to try.
Flavors: Cocoa, Honey, Malt, Smooth, Sweet Potatoes
