This is a lovely tea! I got this one in a sample pack from Verdant, and I will definitely be ordering more with my next order. It is rich in aroma and taste, has a nice soft mouth feel and attractive color. I pick up sweets notes of nuts and honey, raisin bread, and even caramel. I however was not able to get many steeps out of this one, on the third one it started to get pretty light.

I must say I really enjoyed this one:) I got it as a sample and am definitely adding this one to my next order. First impression is sweet, raisin, honey, molasses, prune, dry apricot nice notes of flowers and citrus. It has a lovely body and mouth-feel (tho I tend to brew my teas stronger). The consecutive steeps are more malty, nutty, oat, cream I still detect citrus and floral notes. Very nice tea! I’m on brew #5 right now and it still has a nice color and good taste and body. I would definitely recommend.

I’ve been looking for a good Jasmine tea for a while now and this one did not disappoint!!! It is light and delicate, and the aroma is just fantastic, sweet jasmine bouquet. It gives a nice mouth watering sensation and a lingering taste. It has fruity notes, white grape or kiwi, very fresh. Second steeping was a bit more sweeter and rich in taste, lovely tea, Thank you!

Let me just say, where it sates " …mixing up the tea prior to scooping out your desired amount of leaf is recommended…" – Do it!
I had to rewrite my review as the first brew was very floral and I could not note much Vanilla in the cup. So, second time around, yes, very lovely Vanilla. Pleasant and sweet aroma. Later steeps are still somewhat floral, sweet grass, carnation… very nice tea over all, with a sweet treat or a bit sugar.

Update: Drinking this one again today. I’m getting closer to the bottom of the bag, and it seems that’s where all the Vanilla lives ;) Wow, vanilla! Super rich, glorious aroma, reminds me of Tonka Bean, with floral noted. Luxurious, velvety, just wonderful. I’m still smelling the carnation in the base tho in the first two steeping, its a bit confusing. Something in the black tea is throwing me off I think, but its a nice complex cup. I’m starting to enjoy this one a bit more. It has a bit of a bite to it, and minerality, touch of bitterness and it lingers on your senses. Ah third steeping, and I think I finally have it. It has notes of bergamot. Oddly enough;) somehow the aroma profile opened up into this lovely perfume, still strong vanila, sweet yet crisp.

I have to say that I might have got over zealous on my first brewing and added too much tea. The liquor came out too bitter for my taste. So second try here we go: It’s a lovely aroma, vanilla, cream, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and hint cherry, somewhat earthy, malty note. It has a bit of a mineral taste, and I was expecting it to be sweeter, richer, more full bodied. On the second steeping it has an earthy, grassy, forest taste, very vegital. Like sweet fresh cut grass, and flowers of some sort. I added some sweetener and it brings out the lovely desert notes. Over all great tea.

I had to revisit this note… I really want to love this one, but It just doesn’t do it for me. It smells really Fantastic, but lacks in body and balance. I add extra tea in hopes to get more taste out of it but it comes out bitter. I think Whispering Pines is either hit or miss for me, unfortunately this one is a miss.

I got this tea in a gift bag from a friend. I usually do not purchase Teavana flavored teas as they seem very artificial to me. This one is no different, and on its own it has an overpowering aroma with a very bland taste, body and murky color. However is has some nice spice notes that go well with milk and sugar. So over all with I’m enjoying the experience, it makes for great cup of spiced milk drink.

These are as pleasant visually as much as they are lovely flavor wise. They remind me of little spiky sea urchin when they float around in the pot. Very pretty and fun to brew. The color of the liquor is light amber, the flavor is floral, lightly fruity, hints of peach, earthy and strongly reminds me of “Shipovnik” which is a dried Rosa Cannina berry ( gives away with its light sour notes and the aroma). Its quite pleasant tea, I’m enjoying the second brewing more then the first. Its lighter and a bit more floral, fruity then earthy, I could totally see Puerh and Asam being part on the blend. Very flavorful and great with some sugar or agave.

While I got excited when I first opened the container of this tea, I was quickly let down by how highly perfumed this tea is. It might be just me, but I seem to have this issue with many Teavana teas. The “perfumed flavor” is soo strong you can’t smell, taste the actual tea. This peach, cranberry concoction is very sweet, super fruity with some sour notes. Its full of dried fruit, and with some sugar or agave nectar tastes like pure candy. While its a pleasant pick me up tea, its just not for me. The overpowering aroma is literally giving me a headache, burning my nose, i cant smell anything else but over saturated cheep peach perfume. Maybe if I wash it first and drink the second steeping it would lend itself better.

I think this is going to become one of the favorite greens in my books. Such a delicate blend, very pleasant aroma. I usually love everything pistachio, but this combination is quite an unusual twist. I was expecting a sweet, nutty, honey taste, but in fact this tea is a delicate green with seaweed, grassy, nutty taste and lovely greenish color. I brewed it stronger then usually, but its thick, a tad murky and offers a nice mouth feel. The aroma brings the sweet creamy notes of ice cream and pistachio. Very nice combination, very pleasant experience. I enjoyed is with out sweetener.
