I was hoping for a bit more macaroon and a bit less lemon with this one. The aroma out of the bag is just such, but when brewed the lemon really becomes almost overpowering. That being said the lemon notes are on the sweet side, with a hint of macaroon. It is a very light tea, almost transparent in color and i find it refreshing.

Yuuuum! What a delight this tea is. As soon as I opened the package I knew I was going to love it. It has sweet, coconut-vanilla-pastry aroma with a hint of almond, honey and is can almost say some citrus. When brewed, it fills your senses with delicious coconut cookie experience. Quite flavorful with out sugar, but I added a teaspoon for that sweet desert taste. On the second brew the coconut notes are not as strong and more of almond, honey, toffee come out. Still sweet, still delicious. I will definitely order more with my next perchance.

I have been enjoying this one for two days in a row now. It has lovely sweetness to it, floral notes yet earthy. Very mild and pleasant pu’erh, I don’t even wash this one. It offers a nice mouth-feel too.

I pulled a single mini Tou Cha from my Pu Erh stash, which I think is this tea, judging by the labels on the wrap. I washed it well, and made the first steeping at about 40sec. It was dark in color, this tea seems to be a one that keeps on giving. Rich and earthy, it has some bitter notes, but they seem to decapitate with the later steeping. Its quite silky and mouth watering, but a bit flavorless. I add some sugar for sweetness.

Sip sip, happy happy!
Super Assam, rich, flavorful and the aroma is wonderful! It lingers with raisins, cherries and plums, dipped in honey and sprinkled with nuts. Love it! A perfect morning tea, or mid day re-energizer. I’m definitely ordering more of this one soon.

This one reminds me of The Black Lotus, the differences I can clearly taste are: Black Lotus has strong Assam influence, it has more raisin in it while this one is more pure honey, its seems less complex to me. Lovely tea though, very enjoyable.

Oh boy, I think this is getting added to the list of all time Faves! It is delicious. I love Assam teas and this one has a strong influence of it, but the blend offers a sweeter, richer aroma. I had to do a double take the first time I smelled it. Wow, it smells like honey, raisins, melted sugar, gosh if melted gold had a smell this is what it would smell like, hah. If I inhale deeper I can separate the smell of Assam and the hints of Jasmine, and something sweet. So I steeped it strong (how I usually like my black teas) and on the second steeping added some rock sugar, it is delicious. It really seems to be a high quality blend, with lovely large, dark leaves and produces a dark golden, color of honey liquor. Awesome experience, like drinking pure honey, mind blown! Love it.

I usually don’t like flavored teas, they taste perfumey to me.
That being said, I actually really enjoy this one! It a very pleasant, natural, nutty, fruity, cinnamon aroma. It almost reminds me of a spiced apple cider or cinnamon buns. Yumm!
