It took me most of the morning to settle on the flavor of this tea, which was odd given how strong the flavor was. Then it hit me, cigar! This tea tastes like your drinking a cigar, especially ironic given lung is in its name. This was not for me, nor will I be revisiting it in the future.

I am really surprised by the low, by steepster standards, ratings for this tea. This tea is what I call a full sensory experience. As soon as you open the container the lovely scent of fresh oranges fills the air. While sipping this tea you are again treated to bright orange on your palate which fades into smooth green notes and then again the pleasant orange is back at the finish. It is crisp yet subtle and just a very pleasant tea experience. If I was serving green tea to someone who claims they dislike green tea I would serve this and they would soon eat their words. Order a sample and I guarantee you will wish you ordered more.

This was not a tea I ordered but a sample packet, which are always welcomed, that came with my tea. This was a pleasant, albeit unremarkable, green tea. I steeped it for a full 4 minutes at 175f as I wanted something strong following New Years Eve, but even then it was rather tame. This was especially odd because the Red Blossom site describes it as " one of the thickest and intense green teas we’ve tasted". I likely won’t order this offering, but if you want something light this might be the tea for you.

A soft, smooth, and subtle green tea with hints of apricot. This is a great tea to ease you into your day, or into your bed. Red Blossom does such a great job with their vast selection of green teas, which are always so bright.

A Spearmint tea that hits the right notes without being overpowering. Sadly I can no longer find this tea on the Silk Road tea website, I will follow up to see if it is no longer available or just renamed. If you can find it, it will be well worth your time.
