This has to be my favourite tea. The first time I had tried it was when I was living in Northern Quebec near the mountains in the winter. Being a native to Southwestern Ontario… I’ve never really experienced anything other than flat farmlands.

This tea captures the essence of the simple pleasures and joys of winter almost perfectly which coming from me is quite the compliment. I tend to hate winter and find it almost depressing. This tea however, reminds me of mountains, skiing, and fireplaces. It’s a really cozy tea.

As others before me have already stated:

-stevia in it
-oily

I hate this tea. I really regret buying a hundred grams of it. I bought it as I LOVE white chocolate and peppermint (especially together) but unfortunately with ragweed allergies and stevia being in the ragweed family… It just tastes weird in my mouth and leaves me with a wretched feeling in my stomach.

I ordered this tea along with a few others from 52teas. I had begun rewatching Lord of the Rings (extended of course) and was waiting for this tea to come in.

This tea is excellent. I let mine steep a little too long and as such the pepper was stronger than it should’ve been but I enjoyed it. This is what I imagine a dragon’s breath would taste like… Hot, peppery, and with a bit of smoke.

Right now, I have some of this cold brewing in the fridge. I’m hoping that it’s excellent cold brewed as for some reason I prefer cold drinks to hot drinks. I’m wondering what it will taste like considering the pepper gets stronger the colder the tea is.
