Having mixed this with one Black Dragon Pearl (black tea) it makes a delicious coffee and chocolately toned black tea/mate mix. A sweet liquour and interesting coloration with hints of dark red to the natural tones of a black tea. A must have on days I want something incredible with my teas.

This is how black teas should taste. Although I am drinking it with Earl Grey White Tea by Teavana which makes a good mix since the bergamot makes a transition of simple black tea into some sort of breakfast tea.

A favorite tea of mine with sweet flavors and spicy cinnamon. I have not had this recent, but remember it well enough to type a tasting note.

I would generally wake up to this… Smell the tin the leaves were in and steep the amount for a cup. Usually I would steep this for a long time simply because it would not get bitter and would get stronger with the moments passing.

I cannot wait to order more this and hopefully by xmas time it will be with me. Possibly by the pound!

What I believe to be the bergamot in this tea is a very strong flavor and scent. It is almost overwhelming to the extent I may not drink it. Although I did get it down sip by sip it was a different experience being that it was a less expensive white tea. A mistake made by buying two bergamot flavored teas including a black tea called Earl Grey Creme Black Tea by Teavana.

My point being I guess I should have done a sample taste by going one ingredient at a time to assess the bergamot. It is good, but so-so to me. As a last thought; never oversteep this tea! OMG!

Six Summits is a first time Oolong for myself. It has an earthy taste. I compared it to green tea, but it is unlike green tea in the sense green tea tastes more like a vegetable.

So my order came in today of Teavana teas and this is my first cup I decided to make from the five types I have ordered. What peaked my interest was the fact it is green tea. I have never had a good green tea that was green tea alone…

This is mild, yet somewhat of a vegetable taste to it. A little sweet as well!

Another day, another cup.
Using my clear glass Teavana tumbler; I am enjoying my day until it is time to hit the books hard and then get to bed. Helping me wake up though is this moderately strong black tea! Two pearls with around 12 fl.oz.

So I tend to enjoy the pearl teas almost just as much as blooming teas due to their unfurling process that takes place during steep time. It is a beautiful thing how people can craft the blooming teas. My favorite blooming tea has been and probably will always be Peach Momotaro Artisan Tea. I will post this up on my cupboard after this tasting note…

One more thing is that I enjoy the Black Dragon Pearl because of it’s taste, watching the pearls unfurl, and the name of the tea. I always liked dragons for some reason.
