drank Almond Cookie by The NecessiTeas

I’ve been liking this and reaching for it a bit lately. It has a flavor profile that is very similar to some green almond teas I have enjoyed with the almond and coconut, but on a black base. In comparison I think the black base adds something that distracts a bit from the almond. The other cups of this I’ve made had a better flavor and I’m not sure why this one turned out slightly flat, but I’m still enjoying it. One thing I noticed is that it’s really only good for one steep, the second being very flat and dull, so it makes it a little more expensive vs. teas you can get multiple cups out of. I’d almost consider reordering, but I’m not quite there with it.

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
