drank Earl Grey Passion by Curtis
1711 tasting notes

Uuuuuggggghhhhhhh! Damnit! I ordered this tea based off the name and the graphics on the box. It says passion and on the back has a tea pot covered in leafy vines, like passion plants. I thought it was a passion fruit EG. It is not. I drank the whole cup, but I wasn’t happy about it. No fault of the tea’s, it was my misinterpretation of what I was getting. I’ll have to give it some time and revisit this tea with adjusted expectations.

Aw man, that sounds like it would have been a delicious combination! And I’ve totally done stuff like that before – I understand the frustration!

There was a Lupicia Hawaii blend, Loki Lani, that was a passion fruit EG and it was good! Still bummed they discontinued it. I was really hoping this would be a good alternative.
There should be a term for getting so excited about tea that you overlook something critical about it!

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
